Who's Dara?
Friend just pitched up with a bottle of wine - thought I might need a chat bless her. And I did.
Trouble is we got carried away with enthusiasm and booked 2 holidays away with the Brownies. :eek:0 -

They changed the lunch times and timetables this week because of the snow, staggering it so they dont all go at once. DS went at the wrong time by mistake, then realised, tried to go back but wasnt allowed out of the hall.....because of the weather.
Eventually got back to form, and apologised. Teacher said no worries, easy mistake etc. This aft, he was hauled out of maths to go to head of year, who rollocked him. She kept asking questions, but wouldnt give him chance to speak, then told him to find his teacher and apologise. Stormed off before he had chance to say he already had
He's a good kid. His report yesterday said excellent for effort in all subjects. This had made him so upset, he said he cant be bothered trying anymore. He's special needs, does 4 different extra curricular classes to help his problems including one that is trying to help his memory/organisational skills. Surely they can see he's a good kid, who's trying really hard but has some problems.

Evening!
Just got back from the gym, ran 5k and cycled 5k (I ignore the times on the treadmill pretty much but it was a little faster than Sunday), knees are hurting a bit, they're not used to the cycling. Hoping that's a temporary effect because I'd like to get out on my bike once Spring is here.
Had to dig the car out and de-ice it for 20 minutes just to get there, and then de-ice it again when I came out. Above and beyond the call of duty, surely!"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -

I wanted to ring or go in, but DS asked me not to coz he's scared he'd get in more trouble, and I know I'd get upset anyway. Maybe a letter, without telling DSIs it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches :think:Loves being a Wonderbra friend :kisses3:

Spud.....am so angry   don't give up until you get a full retraction and an apology (in front of his classmates preferably.....edit - maybe not if he's worried about making a fuss - but definitely a letter). What a nasty piece of work. :grouphug:"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250
