Wouldn't have thought that was too expensive Claire, guess it might be a bit quiet at this time of year, nobody got any money etc?
In bed now and really fancied hot choc (thanks Sammy!) but all I could find in the cupboard was a free sample of light Horlicks! It's not too bad though actuallyDebt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -
I'll 2nd becky there Spud- very hard to see it close up...a friend of mine works in Lloyds and I said how jealous I was that he got to see all these lovely buildings but when I saw just how little you actually see of them when you're so close I realised that it's far better to do the "touristy" bus tour and see everything from a distance. Much like County Hall on the Southbank - stunning building but you only see the manky bits from ground level.
My eldest cat, 15, is requiring lots of cuddles lately due to the cold, he's never really been a lap cat but he's loving having DH home and an extra lap to sit on."Start every day off with a smile and get it over with" - W. C. Field.0 -
I see lots of county hall walking along the embankment (other side of the river) every day - they light it up in the evenings - its great0

Yep its very cool - the bar (part of the Bfi cinema) does great food/drinks outside in the summer - its ace
There's also usually a cuban (i think) band under that bridge at the moment too - makes for very fun running when I do the south side...I always end up in step with them!0 -
I've only been to London once, on a day trip when I was about 7. Need to plan a trip for me and the kids I think, if I can find some cheap day trip train tickets one holidayIs it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches :think:Loves being a Wonderbra friend :kisses3:
