  • Hi Brizzle

Am okay thanks. Just the time of year and all the background stuff going on is c*ap!
I am feeling really rough today with a cold, my head is pounding and my throat feels as though I am swallowing razors:eek: So no energy either here and I agree exercise best left until it returns! Hope you feel better soon.

Am flying with flylady and the house is good order. I am not looking at the debt until after new year. My car is in the garage again

But I am very very lucky I have some good friends. I am looking forward to Christmas day at moms with dd's. It will be the first time in 17 years that dh won't be with us. The lack of communication on his part is sooooooooooooooooo frustrating. Anyway I digress!

The diet is definately on hold until after Christmas. I agree it would be very "bah humbug" like at this time of the year not to participate in the odd [STRIKE]bottle[/STRIKE], glass of wine !!:rotfl::rotfl:

It's my birthday tomorrow so my plan is to drops dd's off at school and then come home and go to bed for a couple of hours without feeling guilty as I have booked the day off work.:rotfl:

Hope you have a good day xxx

  • Hi YM,
Sorry I haven't been around for a while, but you sound like you are coping well - you have had quite a year. so i guess things can only get better. It's great how much support you get on here!
Missed your birthday so belated wishes:bdaycake:
I love the fact that you are thinking such positive thoughts with all that is going on around you. Having young children is so tough when you have to put on a happy face, but sounds like you are managing it. You are great :A and don't forget it!!!:) xx

  • Thanks guys. Lovely to hear from you C and hope all is well with you. Hugs x How's the exercise going B ????

Well I had a lovely birthday thanks to my dd's and my fab friends who made it special. Some of my friends don't know my predicament at the moment. I can be very open but also very private, which I know doesn't make sense:rotfl::rotfl: I think that's why sometimes I have a problem posting here. But on the other hand everyone is always sooo supportive and it really warms my heart.

I have to say I am wishing myself into next year already. This is not like me as i usually adore Christmas. Of course I have my little DD's to think about so I will make it v special for them. Things with dh very amicable but I have no idea what's going on. Midlife crisis maybe? Do men have theses???

After Christmas I will " take a deep breath" and tackle my debt and also my weight and well being. I will also not feel embarrassed or unconfident about posting here.

I have had a bit of cashback from topcashback and nearly have enough piggy points for an amazon voucher. (This has taken an absolute age!).

Take care and stay warm xxx

Sorry I've not been back to see you YM :o Sorry I missed your birthday, but glad it was ok and well done to all things Flylady :T
She is wonderful isn't she? It's amazing how taking control of small areas of your life, has such a positive effect on others.

I'm going on a fitness mission in the NY, so we can kick each other's behinds. Take care and keep posting - you;re doing great x
  • I'd like to join the fitness mission too - want to lose about a stone. Keep putting it off - my excuse is that I can't afford to buy any new clothes, so in the interest of money saving I NEED to stay fat!! :rotfl:

  • Macgirl - Yes flylady is all about baby steps and control - just what I need. I am reading her book at the moment and it's amazing. She explains that expecting perfections stops us from doing so many things and stresses us out which results in family disharmony. Think I may be waking up and smelling the coffee !!! I am an "all or nothing" person and certainly need to take the baby step approach and try to chill out more. Even coming to the realization that I have to somehow factor time in for myself etc etc. So big thankyou for pointing me in the right direction.

C and H - you certainly put a smile on my face about the answer to my question concerning men and mid life crisis' !!! Girl power!!

Yes I am definately going on a health and fitness regime in the NY. I need energy for what's ahead and I want to feel nice. I have the opposite problem C. This time last year I had lost nearly three stone. Unfortunately I have now put 2 stone on and gave all my bigger clothes to charity. I have very very little to wear. Ie one work outfit and one casual. So i need to get back into my clothes. Unfortunately I am a stress eater. Particulary chocolate:) So I need to learn to overcome this:eek:
It's snowing here again. Arggggggggh. Oh well at least I break up from work today. :T
Take care everyone and thanks for posting xx
