I would like to try lasagna in SC, but in the manual it is written that pasta ca not be cooked in the SC. Isn't pasta same as lasagna (i mean the basic ingredient)? Can anyone share with me a good lasagna recipe?

  • I have a smoked gammon joint in mine today. Reduced from £6.46 to £2.46 from Tesco on Sunday ( I defrosted it overnight ).

We're having a BBQ tonight ( please stay sun :D ) so I will slice some for tea and save the rest for Sunday lunch.
    Mum to 3 gorgeous kids

Hoping to have a better year this year.

How did it turn out ... and if it was good would you mind sharing the recipe? :D

    Hi Mands,
I've only just seen your post.
It turned out like a really spicy, dark and thick compote.
If you look at the thread '5 OS Pleasures in your Day Today' at page 278 the recipe is there.
The next time I'll try and leave it on High a bit longer,to see if I can reduce it a bit more, only did 4 hours on High.
    Happy slow-cooking!

I've just had cream of onion soup from my new slow cooker (broke the pot in my old one). Made with home grown onions and served up with home made bread. Absolutely scrummy and with leftovers for tomorrow. Yum yum yum
