Root veg stew-onions, carrots, parsnip, potato, swede, turnip, stock, mixed herbs, pepper. Baked beans added later and then dumplings at the end. Yummy as it's pouring with rain and quite cool here.

i've got a pork casserole in my one today. lots of pork, onions, mushrooms and carrots. i normally use a sachet of somerset pork in it ( i love it and never been able to make my own to beat it) but i haven't got a sachet of that. so i'm using a chicken one. it smells devine. will add some dumplings in last hour and serve with roast parsnip and mash.

I would like to try lasagna in SC, but in the manual it is written that pasta ca not be cooked in the SC. Isn't pasta same as lasagna (i mean the basic ingredient)? Can anyone share with me a good lasagna recipe?

I didn't know that you could cook lasagna in the slow cooker but found this on YouTube which may be worth a try.

Hi, can you tell me how much water you use with the Somerset Pork mix?

I'm thinking of giving it a go but I'm nervous of getting it wrong and having a pork soup!
