Washload number 2 in the WM and 1 in the TD, although I've just realised I left one of my bras in the WM when I put a hot wash of towels on - hope I haven't wrecked it! Still, the floordrobe is looking a little bit clearer - the towels have been on the landing for a couple of weeks now! :o I must get on top of the washing this weekend, and not be put off by the fact that the machine is outside in the garage.

Valli I've noted down what happened today on my countdown calendar that I have on the fridge. Haven't contacted the union yet about it, but I suppose the HT feels justified in making us miss it as we had an hour before the staff meeting to do stuff, and we had 3 snow days last week, even though I spend many a whole day on weekends working and evenings too and also worked from home on my snow days. The point is, there are 3 of us who need to plan and do stuff together, and none of us could get together, and we just couldn't do all of the discussing on the phone either. Good luck with your date - hope it goes well.
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.

Valli - be yourself. At the end of the day would you really be happy with someone you could run rings around? My first H did not read at all, ever. I really should have noted this fact and applied my brain.
Agreed....I always wanted a clever man and got one in the end....which has it's positives and negatives.

Well I managed to stand up for over an hour sorting the dinner and then pottering with laundry etc - now up to date. This bodes well, all the resting, elevating and ice has helped...plus i've been flexing it regularly too :D I plan to go into work tomorrow as i'm in a forward planning meeting all day with my colleague and so should be able to prop my foot on a chair! ;)

I will try and finish the bathroom before bed though I don't want to push my luck on the ankle...

Eggs hard boiled for DH's sandwich, final portion of parsnip soup in a container in the fridge ready for my lunch Fri as I'm out for lunch tomorrow.

ETA: I now have items totalling £198 in my basket on the craghoppers site....lots are duplicates as I'm not sure what size to get...anyone know their returns policy?

Kitchen still not finished but all but one bench is cleared, I stopped as I was preparing kids tea.....DP decided he wanted to eat later. I am now impressed with my MSE ways, I got the steaks and trimmed the fattier parts off DP & boys tend to leave. Then looked and thought if I trim that and add to it, I might even get another meal out of it. So anyway I've thinned them down a little & trimmed more off, we still have huge enough steaks to feel like a treat as they are plate width, 4 inches wide & about 1/2 inch thick (bought before Christmas, trying to have cheap meals then treats out of what we have) but there is now also a tub (yes takeaway size plastic one) full of trimmed off steak in the SC with some bendy veg otherwise bin destined. So tomorrow we have a 'free' meal :) Even DP didn't seem disappointed, I did say I haddn't done it to pressure him just to prove we're a little (or lot) 'greedy' sometimes.

:D I will finish the kitchen but just had to share as I am proud of my little self. Oh I cooked the beef fat off in the pan to make some treats for the dog too :D he's delighted.

Rach have you tried here for craghoppers http://www.gooutdoors.co.uk/product-list&Manufacturer=24 or ebay? I find them cheaper. Both Go Outdoors & craghoppers are good with returns. With craghoppers I think you still need to claim back return postage costs

I'll join in a little late - just trying to declutter the kids to bed.

DS has passed his swimming test so very pleased with him and he now wants to carry on whereas he had said he wanted to stop when he'd finished this lot.
