DD and DH have finished the list between them so please could we have a star tootles xx
I've managed to put a washing load in and feed children + 1. I've also managed to lose £20 cash. It's piddled me off more than my knee has. A client paid it yesterday and I don't know where I've put it - now I'm wondering if she's picked it back up by mistake. Grrrrr!
Also realised I've not been told when to get the stitches out. Is it usually about ten days?
Putting my feet up now and having an early night xx0 -
Hiya!
I'm h-o-o-m-e:D:D:D:D:D
Operation snaffle a new oh commences shortly :rotfl: Lift off in 26 hours and 45 minutes :eek::eek::eek:
Do I do simpering 'ooh aren''t you a big clever man knowing all that!' then or do I show off my not inconsiderable talents then as per Soappie's sound advice? Answers on a postcard please!
Hugs Turks - beautiful poem and well done all of you for being able to do it.
Hope our bruised and battered flyladies are ok inc AnWsMum and Mudbath
Thanks Poohbear my letter came!

Thank you Honey Bear0 -
Got into school this morning after ringing in cos of the snow, and found that the head had literally just closed the school cos not enough staff had got in. Then we were told to wait around til DH got in so that we could have a meeting, by which time, more staff had arrived too, so cos of pressure from parents, we opened this afternoon, after having a 2 hour staff meeting right through our PPA time again! Oh, and although we told the office about it in November, our school trip is having to be postponed until March, cos no-one booked the coach! Well it was really worth opening - we had 6 children in the whole of our year-group, and of course they were the worst-behaved as their parents wanted rid of them.
Left school at 4pm (only about an hour earlier than usual) and came home and put the washing on, whilst there was still some light to see in, so have token flown!
Off to warm up with a nice cup of tea now OH is home, and watch TV for a bit, before the depressing task of completing a form to justify why some of the children haven't made progress last term (because they are lazy and don't do homework etc or listen in class and their parents don't care, and because we aren't allowed to say any of them have gone backwards in their levels cos it'll look bad for Ofsted), and what we are going to do about it (resign at the end of the Spring term and let some other poor sod deal with them).
Sorry for the moan again. Hope all are well. Hugs to all of my flylady friends.

Sexy I hope you are noting ALL this down; time and dates etc PPA IS NOT to be used for staff meetings and alternative provision should be made. You (and others it would appear) are being treated COMPLETELY unprofessionally. I hope all the teaching unions are being informed too!Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily Dickinson

Our days are happier when we give people a bit of our heart rather than a piece of our mind.

Valli - be yourself. At the end of the day would you really be happy with someone you could run rings around? My first H did not read at all, ever. I really should have noted this fact and applied my brain.'If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need' Marcus Tullius Cicero0 -

Do I do simpering 'ooh aren''t you a big clever man knowing all that!' then or do I show off my not inconsiderable talents then as per Soappie's sound advice? Answers on a postcard please!and you'll be fine. There's no need to have a strategy - hopefully some of the questions will provide material for some interesting chats.
and what we are going to do about it (resign at the end of the Spring term and let some other poor sod deal with them).
Calls finished for today, and one paper drafted (not one of the ones planned/overdue, this one was a flash of inspiration and I'm waiting for feedback from a colleague)
Off to do some flying... a quick S&S, then get some soup ready to go in the SC overnight and find some supper. I'll log off later and take my laptop to the sitting room to get some writing done. My work laptop is apparently stuck in a dhl depot somewhere so they're going to get the guy who collected it on Monday to pick it up and bring it over tomorrow... then I can finally do some proper work...0 -
