you can open a non paying bidder on day 4, i would send him a message in spanish (using google translate) telling him that you can not wait till 25th for payment and that if he couldnt pay for the item within 7 days of the auction ending then he should not have bid .... then i'd open a NPB on him0

Here's the website of that guy I mentioned about 15 pages ago:

He traded over the course of a year from a paper clip to a house. Interesting read, would only really work if you were in his position though lol.0 -
evening all, noticed a couple of sites in a mag in work today thought may be useful for people, one is called clothesagency.co.uk (i think it is co.uk) and you can sell clothes, apparently less fees than ebay? or no listing? or something like that, and now can't for the life of me remember what the 2nd link was or even what it was for, just remember thinking that would be really useful...obviously not that useful now as i can;t remember it.
not looked att eh clothes one yet as i have no clothes to sell, my younger sister and eevn my neices are now helping themselves to all my unwanted's lol. Thanks to all who post comps :T0 -
ooh, one of my prsonal items i placed on ebay has a bid, only 99p but it i a start and such a refreshing change to log on and be greeted by the price in bright greeen...YAY...go me!!!! ha ha.
i am now also going to my mothers, where i know three are a couple of evening dresses waiting for me to collect, i will then have a go at listing them after the weekend cos i am away at my fellas when i finish work tomorrow.
on the down side, british gas are messing me round due to me leaving them, and have already put a £35 cancellation fee on one of my accounts, they are not meant to until my final bill (which this isn't) and also i am disputing this as they currently cannot find any prove i am on a contract.
and an item i returned to a ebay seller as it was faulty, does not seem to have arrived, so no doubt, i will not get the replacement either, it costs me £18.99 plus the postage to return, i should however hope i kept the proof of postage, and may have to see if i can claim on that should it not arrive withthe seller, and as this was a gift i had bought someoen for cmas, i really need to purchase another one for them anyway, so yes, that is me well and truly out of pocket...ces't la vie
Thanks to all who post comps :T0 -
i have posted this floxxie's ebay challenge thread but just wondering if any1 can give me any advice
also have a ps3 plus 3 games, 2 controllers & ear piece - just wondering whether ebay or amazon would be better and is it better to sell as one lot or individual items?
have also noticed on that local bargain finder website the missed spelled listings - they give you a list of popular errors - have just won some playstation games for next to nothing cuz the word playstation was spelt wrong! checked them on amazon and i stand to make approx 300% profit on each item! may only be about a fiver per item but it will all add up!0 -

My advice from experience would be to sell the PS3 with one controller, then everything else separately (depending on what the games are!)Turn £100 into £10k challenge - Member #031 - £209.48 / £10,000 - £9,790.52 to go!0 -
Hey everyone, really glad everyone is doing really well.
I have started having a sort out of all my things and creating a big pile to go through but haven't got any further - no profit at all so far.
My dad had a stroke last week so really struggling to focus and find time between all the phone calls I suddenly seem to have to make/take, and also of course I have my 3 and 4 year old to look after, on top of feeling daunted by ebay.
Does everyone feel nervous about loosing their ebay virginity or am I being a wuss? I started the year so motivated but not getting anywhere.Life is a work in progress0 -
Copper, if you need any help with translations, let me know.My Spanish lego buyer is messing me about! Its been 3 days and he hasn't paid, so I sent him a message asking if he still wated it. Maybe the meaning behind his message got lost in translation but he said "hello, sorry for the delay, if I want the item, in some days I pay you, sorry for the inconvenience and thank you for everything"!
So I asked him if he definitely wants it and he replied "If you want, I'll pay in the coming days, at most by day 25".
I presume he means by the 25th. Not sure what to do. Should I just relist or wait? How much time am I suppose to give a buyer to pay?0 -
Sorry to hear about your Dad nixinixi, hope all will be well.
Not doing a lot here, £5 more on BB but not dipped my toe in the ebay pool yet...I'm collecting bits and will speak sweetly to DD who has an account, to sell for me. Proceeds to be negotiated but she's as canny as me with money so it's a toss-up who will come out on top!0
