  • 71 items ... now I feel totally useless ;) ... are you varying the auction times or all at the same time? I am still getting used to turbolister and thinking of releasing a few at a time into the wild ... 71 is impressive. Well done. :T

OH said to just leave them, it gives me a bit longer to sort out the p+p for them as I've put it down at a set amount thats too high and have put large note on auction that i'll amend it asap and if bids on auction then i'll refund the difference to the buyer

I have to admit I keep missing options or details on Turbolister and then have to readjust and resync a lot ... hopefully in time it will become second nature ;)

you have a website selling car suspension items as a business yet ask what you can earn without paying tax ? you should already be registered with HMRC and be paying tax on your business earnings

ps - remove link from your post as we aint allowed to advertise our websites on here

Happy New Year and welcome to the first day of the challenge (for those that joined late you were really early ;)) ... it is the first day of the year according to the Julian Calendar ... so anyone lurking about wondering whether to join in, now would be a fantastic time to jump aboard :).

  • normal average books seeming quite hard to shift for any decent money, unfortunate for me as I like dealing with books and they say you should sell what you like, I am figuring they may not be best way to go for this challenge given how many I'd have to sell at a few quid a time to make headway on the 10k....grrrr, spent hours putting them on amazon too...been scouting around ebay to see what is selling, going to list more things tomorrow so better luck then, got 4 people watching a pair of jeans though that I had no interest in before Christmas.

Thanks Turia, I take your point and have edited to take out the bits that look as if I am advertising (I think, brain is frazzled tonight).

I think it might be okay to discuss this type of stuff - after all, avon, etc - have their own actual thread on Up Your Income - as long as it doesn't look like advertising.

My intention was to let people know about it so they could do it if they wanted, especially charities, schools who could benefit from it.

Hiya, I wasn't trying to be vigilante on you I promise! It's just I've seen it before on the forum on other subjects where people really do get pounced on by other users... I could tell from your post you weren't advertising yourself or "out to make a quick buck" as it were, it was obvious you were giving advice :) But you can never be too careful I think!

Personally I agree with you, Avon and other "distributor" type opportunities have their own threads but certain others get attacked ;) Its all a way of making money which ultimately is why everyone is on the board in the first place! :D
