I remembered, last night, that I had a broken, gold watch and a chain that I haven't seen in years.

I hunted them out this morning, so I will be looking to sell them.

I will be keeping an eye out for any broken bibs and bobs of gold jewellery, I know of a person who made some money just from handing in gold earing backs.

Not time for me to sell my gold teeth yet, only joking :p.

  • I think i mostly use this as a distraction from actually doing the challenge :o

I was having issues with too! Decided am only allowed on once a day. And I have to have done the "list" I have made the night before! :o

Am excited today because I have started "looking" for opportunities. I found a clothes sale thats on next week, and a libraby book sale also (ours often has new books for sale? have sold well before!), and a car boot (which is unusual here) the next week. :T

And a breadmaker that was for sale on the supermarket notice board which I could double my money on if condition is as stated. Rang but haven't got hold of them yet. Probably sold but never know, fingers x'd!

  • Re: Free listing on ebay Sunday

This has been mentioned a couple of times, i too received the email this morning. My thoughts on this are:-

Free on Sunday 17th, so on Sun 24th the market will be saturated with items ending, also, alot of people wouldn't have been paid. As we know, Sundays are the best day for listings to end. So if you put your items on on Sunday 17th, and list them for two weeks, then you get free listing, and the items will end on Sun 31st, after people have been paid.

Any other thoughts on this? Or just a silly idea?

Bum kicking required! Must wrap parcels and take to the Post Office before the snow gets too deep and I get stuck. Instead I'm drinking coffee chatting to you lovely people and admiring my pretty white garden:D

all does depend how people get paid, i get mine weekly but it does sound like a good idea, cud put your high end items on for 2 weeks and your small items for a week?

you cant list for two weeks for normal auctions not in a shop, you'd have to list for 2 lots of 7 days
