Well, sold 12 things on Ebay this week - unfortunately the last thing that sold cost me £1.50 and only made 99p! I think I may just break even with the postage I charged- shhhh! You didn't hear me say that! Trouble is Paypal takes a percentage of your P&P as well!
I think I may have made about £23 profit this week in total!
Been snooping around the charity shops and saw a pair of Dior mules - very tempted, but what if they're fakes - they were £4.50, but when I buy stuff thats more than £1 or £2 I struggle to get the money back most times! Don't know whether to take a chance - they are grey fabric - and are a teeny bit grubby on the (very pointed) toes - but no marks on the soles or heels. What do you all think?

Also saw a big green crate of Lego - £10 - again s'pose I should have taken the chance- that'll def be gone by tomorrow - it was in the window!
Trouble is the house is beginning to look like a charity shop- I'm not clearing stuff out (well, only a bit) - I'm shipping more in!:rotfl:

Quick go and get that lego...otherwise it will be the 'one that got away' :)

yep - you're right - but what would it really fetch - I'm out of touch now but know that some people on here have made some good sales?
  • Well my £200  investment turned up today and I think I will be able to make a profit on it. I raised the money by selling £200 of personal eBay stuff and then spent it!! Never done that before but want to have a go at the challenge and got to give it a go.

Waited all week for it to come but came down with a really bad head cold last night so on the setee today, having a duvet day _pale_ it's taken the shine off it but will start sorting it all out on my day off next week.

hope everyones having a better day xx

  • As a t mobile employee, i can safely say thre is nothing you can do. However if he does report his phone stolen we check the phone his sim was last in, and blacklist that. We dont just blacklist the phone that was sent out on contract as 9 times out of 10 this isnt the phone they are using.

ETA - you shouldnt have been told the phone was registered to him, just that it was registered, but even that is dodgy ground.

The employee was very careful about the privacy policy, as she kept referring to it. She asked me if I knew his name, I did and she confirmed I was correct.

I have sold lego in the past month, I sold the boards for 8.99 and then the half box of lego (1/2 a green plastic box large) went for £24, so worth doing!

  • Hi guys! :hello:

After a good night sleep the horrible moody side of me has gone away now, feeling much more positive today :) Just logged into my national lottery account and found out I won £29 on weds:T yay so that can go towards my next set of tickets.

I was received a gorgeous new foundation, a highlighting wand and mini mascara all worth £90 from a make up company I did a job for a couple months back AND just seen the final shot of that shoot which will be published in a major fashion mag in a couple of weeks. :D I’m so excited, it’s my 1st major publication and hopefully will open some doors for me.:j

Oh BTW I’ve just discovered how to put smileys into my post which is why i have so many in this one, promise I won’t go so crazy in my next post!

That's really great news china-doll, well done.

Well I have been down to the Post Office AGAIN. I asked whether there were many people in this area who ebayed. They said very few and I was definitely the worst offender LOL. Then the young girl assistant said she had loads of stuff that she had never worn, that she wanted to sell, but she couldn't be bothered, so she'd probably bin it.

Quick as a flash I said, i'll drop in my card and sell it for you, on a 50:50 split, that'll make you something. She was really keen.

Of course, i've not got a card, and had no intention of selling for anybody else before I went into the Post Office ..................... Me and my big mouth.

    Hello again all x x

Glad to see you all have your heads down planning and making millions....keep up the fantastic work. :T

I have been a busy beaver too...this week I have done 20 hours overtime, listed on Ebay & Amazon (making £37), I have won £35 on BB, perused the charity shops like a hawk looking for bargains (this has brought about a Chanel eyeliner brand new, a first edition of a serial killers book and a Jackie annual from 1977 for 25pence).
On the saving money front I have: Applied for a free course towards my business,
walked to work instead of driven...even in this piddling down rain:cool:, shopped at the local freezer centre and carried it home rather than buying at Mr M's and driving home, used up two old crusts for beans on toast rather than bin them, put washing on airers rather than use tumbler dryer, meal planned, batch cooked, walked the dog for free exercise and I am working two shifts in a row tomorrow and that will save on petrol and I will get free meals lol.
I must be sad...it's also my birthday tomorrow and I am working 17 hours BUT it's all volunteered overtime and all adds to the pot. I am also on holiday for a week after tomorrow so things aren't bad really.

Hope you all have a fab weekend. x x

    Love Bam x x x
