Another ebay bid and more watchers yay!!
Far too tired today and I don't really know why!! Will list some more on eBay later (if I don't fall asleep!!)
Got an interveiw at work to find out why I want to reduce my hours to PT (nothing to do with the fact that if I work FT and pay CC costs I will come away with about £100 a month!, Yet if I go PT I will make £600 a month!!)
But if I go PT then I will be looking for another PT job at night i.e. bar work etc. Still a bit limited atm as I'm on my maternity leave until March.0 -

I'd like to buddy up with someone concentrating on alternative money-making schemes, like me ... maybe they could join my little MSN group ...
not good enough for you??!!
I guess its a bit more difficult for you as I am only doing online sales, due to commitments with kids etc!
Have you tried ebay.es??? Might help to declutter a bit ( I am presuming that you need to declutter!!) Might be a way to help advertise your other sites...I know on ebay uk you can list classified adds, not sure about ebay.es....might be worth a look though.
Ooooh, just had an idea, S&M / domination holidays! There might be a bit of a market for brits to have a domination retreat!!!moneymabel wrote: »Right-mission for today-look into tax and see what exactly I should be writing down to set against it, I'm sure there are things i'm missing. I write down mileage, obvious outgoings-postage, paypal fees, things bought for the business, and a part of my broadband, but need to check if theres anything else I'm missing.
Mabel, you can claim part of your council tax, heating and lighting and mortgage interest as allowable expenses. Doesn't help with the profit but it does help with reducing the income tax bill!
I will claim for 25% of council tax, heating and lighting and mortage interest as I use one room as an office (well shared with OH who sort of works from home). HMRC say you can claim depending on the liveable rooms in your house (not including the kitchen, bathroom, loo) so I have three bedroom and one lounge, one bedroom is the office so 25%. I hope this makes sense! Have a look at this site, it is a mine of information and they are more than happy to help if you need to phone them. THey even offer local courses in business start up, tax, marketing etc.....

Well I am plodding along very slowly, compared to some. I did manage to sell some leather samples on ebay and made a profit of £4.77. I'll have to find something else to sell now.Mortgage Free in 3-T2 : Started at £151,000 Nov. 2009 Mortgage Free Oct 1st 2015

Sold another book on amazon. profit just under £7.
Waiting for my music magpie welcome pack - ordered on Sunday!
Going for the slow start option myself as I can get a bit disorganised so building up my systems so I don't leap in and end up with bad feedback. All gone ok so far.
Love this thread.

Just a thought. Have you claimed for wearing uniform (if you do) coz you can reduce your tax a little by claiming for laundry and can back date your claim. You dont get £ back but they change your code so you pay a little less oon your salary.0
