We can squeeze Whitewillow and Munchki in if they want to join MAMM ... even if Whitewillow does ruin the acronym ...

Hmmm,I'm a beauty student (and quite good at the whole waxing, facial, massage aspect etc). If I get student insurance do you think it would be acceptable to charge people for things? Obviously a lot cheaper than a salon (but things like massage, manicures and facials are dead cheap anyway so easy to make a profit)
I am a fully trained tanning technician with fake bake but atm can't afford there kit - hopefully get this just before summer!
Opinions please! Would you pay a student to do your waxing etc? (Im HNC level so a bit more advanced that SVQ etc) Or would you steer clear? I would obviously make it VERY clear that I am only a student.0 -

Well I have certainly learnt my lesson
Just got back from the PO sending off 3 largish items, I put £2.00 each for 1st class on the listing, so it shouldn't have cost me more than £6 - I have £8 something or other change out of a £20!
I also didn't prepare for packaging and ran out spending over £6 on jiffy bags and wrapping paper.
Ah well, I will still be in profit once the other items finish - I just didn't realise royal mail charged so much for first class.0 -
Moofie - if you go to the Royal Mail web site they have a price finder where you can weigh your item at home and then input the weight - it will give you a price for various postage costs eg 1st, 2nd, recorded etc. I use it all the time and add a bit of extra weight for the wrappingBe the change you want to see in the world - Gandhi
