Just when I thought I had finished listing all of my unwanted clothes I find another 12 items. Need to wash them then I will list them. I have also got some clothes, dvd's and books at my boyfriend's house which I am going to collect during the week and list. I listed the ugly dress today for £5 BIN, fingers crossed someone wants it because I don't want to be stuck with it.0

Hello,
I haven’t been on here for a while… so I thought I would give you an update…
Has anyone else been writing for Wozzon? I finally finished writing my 200 reviews last night, so hopefully that will be £200 in the pot… providing that comes into fruition (which they should do, as they’ve e-mailed to say my reviews have been accepted). Here are my earnings so far…
£200 - Wozzon;
£120 - Dooyoo;
£34.50 - Bingo Britain;
£45 - (approximately after fees) - eBay;
£3 - Lightspeed;
£3 - Fonebank referral cheque.
= £405.50... It’s certainly a start! And I still have around 50 items to put on eBay, so hopefully the figure will continue to grow…
Keep up the good work everybody!

Hiya
I have been reading this thread for a few days now
You have all encouraged me to get selling my stuff on ebay, so thanks for that
So far I have listed 22 items and 3 have watchers already.
I have looked out loads to be listed so jsut working my way thru it all now.
I have told all my family members to give me a shout when they are having clear outs etc and they have all agreed.
I was made redundant in October last year and have been working temp over xmas in a card shop. The shifts have just stopped in there, but I got a call on Friday to say I have a new full time job which I start a week on Monday.
This gives me a week to have a clear out and to get my stuff listed on ebay / gumtree / local paper.
I dont have £100 just yet to spend out on stock etc, but I am hoping that by ebaying etc I can get myself back on my feet and catch up with our bills etc.
Once I have done that then I will give myself a target to aim for by the end of the year.
Please can you add me to the list?
Good luck everyone
P.S I might just join up for BB tonight as well, would anyone be able to send me the webpage please?
Thanks
Claire

Just spent ages photographing one item of clothing and I just can't get the right shots to do it justice (I'll blame it on the poor light ...;)). Really frustrating ... in 2 minds whether to list or wait until tomorrow and try to get better pictures and then BIN. Managed to list absolutely nothing today on free listing ... ah well, better to get the pictures and listing right than throw something up half baked ... decision made
.
Edit: What a rambling mess of a post that was ... mind all over the place today :rotfl:
You could always put the description on today, then add the photo later - say 'photo to follow' or something. I often do that if I haven't got time to take a photo straightaway.0 -
I've been having a think this afternoon and wondering where I will go next on this journey.
Ideas I have briefed over, researched in the past include
- customised hair bands(easy to do if you're creative but watch the safety aspect.
- buying jewellery in bulk and reselling singularly at carboots etc
- opening an etsy / folksy shop with handcrafted jewellery
None of those avenues are right for me at this particular time, and my next challenge is blogging.
I have been blogging personally for a few months now and know how to get followers and readers etc, so I have thought of five different themes for blogs, and am going to set them up on free hosting, get some ads on and see where the experiment takes me with regular updates.0 -

Well done!
Do you have any tips for the Dooyou reviewing? It looks like quite a lot of work as you only get about 50p for 150 words?0 -
Just so nobody else wastes time signing up, Wozzen no longer pay for reviews
From their T&C's:
All Reviews must be posted on the Site by 20 January 2010 or such earlier date as may be notified to you by WOZZON by e-mail to the e-mail address provided by you at the time of registration for this Promotion. No payment will be made for any Reviews posted after midnight on 20 January 2010 or such earlier date as may be notified to you by WOZZON by e-mail to the e-mail address provided by you at the time of registration for this Promotion.
Damn.
Actually, its only the 17th...so if you have the time to do ten before the 20th, you'll get £10. Still, not much time, especially as they appear to have to 'check your quality' before they allow you to write for money.Signature down for maintenance :rotfl:0 -
Oh, please could I add my name to the challenge?
I need to try and do this without putting in loads of money as I don't have any!
My main income for this will be from Usborne books - I'm an organiser with them and I've just put in £100 on an order for books. I have a couple of school fairs/shopping nights coming up so that will bring in some profit.
I've also listed a load of Partylite stuff on ebay that I had lying around the house and I've got a few clothes that I can put on there too.
I think I might also try matched betting once I have some money to spare.
I've got a few other ideas, but I think that's enough for now!0 -

I think bloggings a good idea, as long as you blog about a subject you are interested in you should find it easy to keep up with.0 -
Very tired now, spent the last 4 hours ebaying and managed to list 23 items, one was a dress which I got at a sample sale for £35, it was way too big and i could tell by just looking at it but I still wanted it cos it was so pretty, anyways I have now forced myself to list it, my palms were all hot and sweaty while I was doing it (gross I know!) and now I feel a bit sad and secretly hopes it doesnt sell...I searched for it online and it RRP's for £225, although its 2 seasons old so probably not worth that anymore...0
