  • i meant 20% of tag price not off tag price....

so if something had a tag price of £20 you would pay £4

the used clothes would be near perfect... with alot of high street brands next etc.. but would include supermarket and lower branded shops too, a mix really

    same with the childrens/baby clothes

aha! That makes more sense! Seems a lot more reasonable.... Might be worth a go on ebay??? Wholesale bundles or even approach people selling kids clothes on ebay. Might be easier than advertising etc....

grrr I'm really annoyed, an ebay customer asked if I would accept £40 buy it now for an jacket and she would pay me next Thursday so I ended my item early for her and now shes pulled out of the sale. I guess I've learnt my lesson!

OK I'm much happier now, shes offered to pay my final fee and the listing charge. Will go and leave her good feedback now..also just checked my paypal account and have recieved a £53 refund for a pairs of shoes i returned, even happier now :-)

This week Im planning to invest some money on some stock, mainly clothes as its the only thing I know about (clothes and beauty products). I had a selection of 40 items I liked which I put into a grid and asked a few of friends which they would wear and how much they would pay for them and narrowed it down to the 10 items most popular which I am going to purchase and sell on ebay...

Also found out theres a good sample sale on Tuesday where I used to be a fit model for, I've sent a very sweet message to he buyer asking for an invite...fingers crossed!

    right then.....

update for you all (not including figures as I will do those at the end of the month!!)

    - reduced all the prices of my bits on amazon as nothing was moving and I'm fed up of looking at a box of books in the office! Hopefully that should get things shifting.

    - just about to put some bits on ebay. I've been meaning to sell my Remoska cooker for ages (lakeland refunded me as I didn't like using it but let me keep it as their courier failed to come three times!) and one sold last week, same size as mine with the same accessories, for about £120!
I'm also going to list a few other bits on auction but a higher price than I would normally. Kind of like a free BIN listing IYKWIM...

    - I've added best offer to all my BIN on my business ebay account and this seems to be helping. I've sold three things since friday when I added it to all the listings. The offers were lower than I wanted, but still with a bit of profit so I went for it..... need the space! LOL!

    - I think I had a brainwave with my other 'main' business. Does anyone on here have any experience of running party plan? I mean from the actual business end, not the agent side of things. I have done a bit of party plan myself but I would love other peoples feedback.

I think thats all for now.... off to do housewifey things like cooking and ironing.... FUN! NOT!!

I MUST list on ebay tonight......

I am a body shop at home consultant and have been for 3 years. I started after having 2 children within 18 months and it not being viable to go back to work (and I didn't want to!). You earn between 25% comission, per party I would probably earn between £30 to £100. There is all the extra work to consider, phoning people, labelling catalogues, sorting your kit etc but I do this round the kids so it suits me. I don't think I ever earn less that min wage and mostly a lot more especially round xmas! You don't have to do just parties you can have tables at fayres etc but it's best to buy stock in to sell which you can end up being left with. I believe what you put into it you get out, it doesn't just fall in your lap.

    Hello,
well, ebay stuff is going ok - just still sorting through stuff I want gone from the house and a few little bits I bought to sell on have made me small profit (but still PROFIT:beer:) Ive raked in well over £100 and I reckon about £60 is profit (after p+p, fees and initial purchase of goods). I am tutoring 2 pupils for an 11+ (£20 per hour for 2 hours per week) so feel im doing ok. need to get more stuf on ebay...
Well done to everyone so far :D
