It never fails to astound me how genuinely helpful everyone is on this thread, giving up time to advise, assist and motivate others. I WILL reach and exceed my 10k target, but in the slim chance that i don't, i have most definitely gained a great deal from being part of this thread (knowledge, motivation, pride, a less cluttered home, lots of giggles, faith, optimism, spirit, ideas, skills in lateral thinking... the list is endless, and far more important than the 10k - although that'll be fab too
) Thank you to everyone who contributes to this thread xx

personally.... I am going to start buying stuff for ME! I have spent so long scrimping and saving and even feeling guilty when I have my haircut (twice a year!) or buy new knickers from Primark. My OH and I are building an extension at the moment and the extra money would be put towards this and then towards the mortgage!
The main motivation on this thread for me is to get my bum in gear, pull my finger out and actually get a business up and running..... for lots more £10k years to come!!!

I'm going to be earning a little extra cash each week cooking some meals for my Mum and all the family that live at her house, as she's so busy with other things and nobody there helps her. I don't really feel like i should be charging her for this as it's something that i love doing, but she said she'd feel happier about it if she gave me some money in return for my time. She usually spends a fortune on over-priced ready meals (about £4 each! - and there's 4 of them!) and is a useless shopper, so it will probably even end up saving her some money too. And they'll all be healthier
I don't feel so guilty now i've written it down!

Great to see evryone doing so well. My ebay is a bit slow as yet. Went into town yesterday and sold my old broken gold chains and odd earrings and got £120. Went a bit wrong though as my OH snapped his wedding ring a couple of years ago so I bought him a replacement. He didn't like wearing it very often as the gold was quite thin and dug into his finger. Anyway to cut a long story short I sold the good one the broken one is in his draw along with his Grandads watch for sentimental reasons. lolJan £10 a day £326.75/£3100

Ha ha it took me so long to type that as i was interrupted that i didn't see any of those posts! I wasn't deliberately ignoring the googlies comment
They are living in the hall at the moment. They are earning their money by making me smile everytime i walk past them! I'm definitely going to make a profit from them somehow, they won't defeat me! x
