  • How disappointing that ebay are not allowing free listing if you use turbolister, I got some things ready on there yest and was just about to upload! But no way I am relisting via nomal route as takes ages so will have to take the hit with the fees. On ame subject can anyone tell me where on my eby ac I find the breakdown o the fees I ahve pid for listing and final sale fees etc I have totally forgotten an can't do n accurate profit calculation without taking off the fees. Over the weekend my auntie has contacted me asking if I will sell some stuff her for a 50/50 split, not necessarily on ebay anywhere I want, sounds like she has lots of clothes, handbags, even a fridge freezer, some hanmade rugs etc, so that could be a nice little boost to the pot!

Not a bad day today l've managed £46.00 to add to the total.
What spurs me on is that to make the target l need to make £27.00 per day. This isn't as easy as l thought and l now need to look for new ideas over the next few weeks.

    Hi there,

I'd advise you to write quality reviews (don't just write the minimum 150 words) and rate other people's work... then people will rate back. If you write a few quality reviews a day and rate others then your points will soon add up.

Add me to your cirlce of friends if you want? My name isn't difficult to work out. Good luck!!

    Well done!

Do you have any tips for the Dooyou reviewing? It looks like quite a lot of work as you only get about 50p for 150 words?

Also, I thought others were doing wozzon? I heard about it on this thread.

    xx
Just so nobody else wastes time signing up, Wozzen no longer pay for reviews

    From their T&C's:
All Reviews must be posted on the Site by 20 January 2010 or such earlier date as may be notified to you by WOZZON by e-mail to the e-mail address provided by you at the time of registration for this Promotion. No payment will be made for any Reviews posted after midnight on 20 January 2010 or such earlier date as may be notified to you by WOZZON by e-mail to the e-mail address provided by you at the time of registration for this Promotion.

    Damn.

Actually, its only the 17th...so if you have the time to do ten before the 20th, you'll get £10. Still, not much time, especially as they appear to have to 'check your quality' before they allow you to write for money.

Hi everyone - I've been reading all posts since before Christmas - and am impressed! All the support here is great - we should all do well.
I'm probably not going to make the £100000, but I'm certainly going to make more with your support than I would have done without it!
Up early (well, 9.30am ) this morning listing on Ebay - some stuff that I bought in the online sales to sell on - not sure it will sell - it's just kiddies' character stuff like Thomas and Tigger socks, pants etc, but my pricing (to get anything back after fees) will I think, be too high to get any bidders - we'll see! I think I may just stick to clearing out household stuff in future!
I'm also trying to pluck up courage to try something else other than Ebay - like bingo - don't know though...

I've been doing Amazon for 3 years but after the credit crunch hit my sales disappeared (even though most of my listings are the cheapest - or 1p). I've gone from selling 6 or 7 books a week to 3 or 4 in a year! Thinking of delisting all the 1p ones as I've just seen some listings at 0.00! Depressing!
Now got to find out how to keep a total in my signature.

Down side of Dooyoo is finding stuff to review - it's only things in their catalogue that you can earn points for. Ignore me, I worked out what to do!

I had a look at Amazon selling last night. Typed in the book and it valued it at 1p, so is this the list price? I know someone mentioned back along that amazon make the price so is that all I stand to make from that book?

P.S It's a bit quiet on here today, everyone listing on ebay by any chance?!

You can make suggestions though... I also keep a list of things to review... you would be surprised how often things pop into your head... by keeping a list I always have things in the review pipeline! xx

Oh sorry  I must have missed it! Ah well, just didn't want everyone to join up expecting a Dooyoo like site with better pay and be disappointed...It sounds like a great promotion, especially if you make £200! Well done!
    Signature down for maintenance :rotfl:
  • I've just about caught up with the thread1 Lots of exciting ideas and money making going on - which is great. I've been selling a few things on Amazon, but I'm finding that my prices are being driven down a lot, which is the only downside at the moment.

My boyfriend is selling my old phone and some car speakers on Ebay for me and there are 19 hours left on that. Do people usually up the bids right at the last minute?

Apart from that, I've signed up to Dooyoo - feel free to add me if anyone else uses it. I've written one review so far, although I think I need to tweak my style a little!
