I had a look at Amazon selling last night. Typed in the book and it valued it at 1p, so is this the list price? I know someone mentioned back along that amazon make the price so is that all I stand to make from that book?
P.S It's a bit quiet on here today, everyone listing on ebay by any chance?!
If you list and sell a book at 1p on Amazon - you will receive £1.41 - out of which you must pay the postage costs - don't know how some people do it - esp when a book is fairly heavy!
PS - you can list a book for whatever you want - doesn't mean. of course, that it will sell.0 -
what a faff..... just tried to list one item on ebay (stupid ebay not letting you use turbo lister) and what a mare.... I much prefer turbo lister. Well the one item that went on should hopefully nett around £100 before fees.
I think I will pay the fees and use turbo lister next time....I can;t be bothered to list any more tonight. I shall do some more tomorrow.....

Just went to confirm the one and only listing today (cant be bothered with the rest) and my account is verified (new account) and can't be verified by phone for another 72 hours because of a glitch....
I don't want to use my current account as it is business only.

You could always put the description on today, then add the photo later - say 'photo to follow' or something. I often do that if I haven't got time to take a photo straightaway.
Finally got it listed :j. Didn't realise that up to 12 photographs, gallery plus, larger picture, zoom feature etc were free in the clothing category ... total bonus. Item now has 12 zoomable pictures and looking great ... listing fees £0. I spent ages the other night deciding which picture to use for some clothing ... could have used all 3 for no fee. Well worth noting ... not sure if this is temporary or not but use it while it is there.

That's happened to me a couple of times this week ... freezes you out on the confirm screen and by the time you update the auction is over ... decided it must be a conspiracy of sniper software blocking out real time button pushers :rotfl: ... or I just wasn't meant to buy them.

Unless you wanted to up your maximum bid this would have happened anyway unless the winner had a maximum bid of £42. If you offered £42, the winning bid would have been £43, even if the winner had a maximum bid of £100. It's so frustrating when you think you have something and you're sniped at the last minute - it's happened to me loads!
I had quite a productive day today. Started with a £26 win at bingo, then I booked £48 worth of mystery shopping jobs to do on my days off this week. I also re-invested £52 on a few ebay items which I reckon will bring in a minimum of £80 after fees. It's taken me back into the red but that's OK, I have loads still to sell. Just waiting patiently!0
