Oh My Goodness! Where in the country are you hon?
We've had about another three inches - but good news! our milkman's just been. Bless him! Yay! :jNot everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted. Einstein0 -
This info was on a newsletter I received this morning from Screwfix.
They are managing to deliver items to most areas but are still having problems with the following postcodes - BH, SO, PO, RH, TN, ME, CT, L, CH, WQ, CW, LS, WF, HG, HX, HD, SS
I imagine Royal Mail are having problems with the same areas0 -
Im in Forest of Dean, we have 6" atm roughly and its still snowing, theres no buses again and all the cars that have tried to drive through are sliding, getting stuck etc as our roads arent being gritted.Wins so far this year: Mum to be bath set, follow me Domino Dog, Vital baby feeding set, Spiderman goody bag, free pack of Kiplings cakes, £15 love to shop voucher, HTC Desire, Olive oil cooking spray, Original Source Strawberry Shower Gel, Garnier skin care hamper, Marc Jacobs fragrance.0

We've had about an inch here today in East London and it's still snowing.
Post van has delivered a lot of things already this morning and hopefully postman due soon as well.
All public transport still running and I'm just off to the PO , it was a good day yesterday on Amazon I think my recent feedback saying things like 'got here next day despite snow' is helping my sales.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Bloomin' snow has been a nightmare here too! Have only managed to get to work two days in the last two weeks!!!Although i have to say, our post has not been too bad tho postie didnt look happy...milkman has been fanatastic - comes 3 times a week without FAIL! But am now on my 3rd tesco home delivery order in 2 weeks and we are rapidly running out of food now with nowhere to get anything! I am out in the sticks a fair bit....
i sold my ebay items on Friday 8th January but the buyers didnt pay until 9th Jan. Does this mean i have 7 days to post from 8th or 9th? Also, is the "7 day rule" meaning that i have 7 days to send it OR that they have to have received within those 7 days???
Baldrick, does it have to be this way? Our valued friendship ending with me cutting you up into strips and telling the prince that you walked over a very sharp cattle grid in an extremely heavy hat?0 -
we had about 1 and half hours snow at 7am this morning, the roads hadnt been gritted cause they forcasted rain, several accidents and took my partner nearly 2 hours to get to work 4 miles up the road, he literally qued from the end of our road.
however the snow was only a light dusting and has cleared now, most of last weeks snow is melting too
however yet again NO royal mail men out, they were out yesterday when the pavements were worse!!!
Ive had three couriers deliver and collect today no problems and ive seen plenty of little old ladies walking around so i dont see why royal mail cant get out and deliver some post! we have had 1 days of post in about 9 days0 -
took two hours to go three miles here. No post. A bus overturned down the road, a train got derailed and caught fire, and no mobile phone signal for o2 customers.
Not good.Undergrad law student. Take my advice with a pinch of salt! :rotfl:0 -

If you want seller protection then you have 7 days from payment to ship. However, if you exceed your stated shipping times on the auction you face 'issues' with buyers anyway, so be warned.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
