A couple of weeks ago while walking the dog I slipped and fell against a road sign. I hurt my shoulder.

You slipped over and fell on something, and it's someone elses fault?

    Demand compensation!!

OP slipped whilst walking in the road and fell into a road sign. She wants priority repair in case any children walk in the road and slip into it. Methinks it would still be painful were the sign damaged or not
