my receipt also says to claim free credit by the 10th Jan, i made a call as it asked and free credit should show in 48 hrs,i am not holding my breath on this one !

Nokia 1208 now out of stock online - it only tells you when you try and checkout :-(
  • If you're going to be recycling the phone (and I'm guessing a lot of us will be!) then don't forget you can get another £3 or £4 by clicking through from TopCashBack or Quidco. Adds another few quid to the money you get from the recycling company, anyway. And as Tesco's themselves say, every little helps...

To mention, on ebay you can buy the old envelopes worth 500 points when you recycle your mobile for about £4/£4.50.

So, purchase your phone at £14.97 plus £4 odd = £20.

    Points - 1,000 from your phone and 500 from recycling = 1,500 = £60 in deals = profit of £40!

apparently they are not honouring these 500 point envelopes anymore

Someone mentioned this a few posts previously. Stupidly, I bought one off ebay about 2 weeks ago to try and boost my points....didnt think to check that they were still accepting them!

Have emailed them for confirmation as to whether they will honour the 500 points as there is still at least one seller on ebay selling these 500 points envelopes.

I didnt do very well out of this deal after all......didnt get my 1000 points as ordered this morning before they updated the online system, one person has said they will honour it oif you ring, the other has said that they wont honour it

I'd just like to thank the op. My daughter wanted the LG KS360 which was on offer in Tesco for £49.97 if you spent £40 on shopping, I held off buying it as I saw this points offer on here so wanted to get the points too. The phone scanned at £69.97 as the offer should have ended but being as it was still advertised on the shelf with £20 off they let me have it for £49.97 plus the clubcard points. I got my daughter to pay me £39.97 so she got the phone she wanted much cheaper than anyone else and I got £40 worth of clubcard deals.

I'm sure many will say if the £49.97 was still advertised you should have got double the difference :)....... but well done.
  • Just noticed the phones no longer have £10 airtime but with 1000 points (equivalent to £10 in store or £40 deals) still a good deal though!
