How do I use the search facility??!

It looks like it should be perfectly simple, but when ever I try to search for something, I just get the response "Please wait while we perform your search request..." and nothing ever happens.Am I doing something wrong?

I've just used it and it worked fine for me .............making sure you tick the threads you want to search or tick the check all box
