Just like to add my thanks for this great Freebie.....well I had to upgrade (£30) to the club room at Hemsby to get weekend I wanted, but well worth it. When I arrived I had been upgraded again ( for free this time) to a 2 bed 'suite', which since I only took my youngest in the end meant we had a bedroom each.
Couldn't really fault much, unless I was being really picky. Bedding was clean and fresh, loads of towels. Free papers Sat, Sun and Monday. Free electricity. Digital TV - got a couple of SKY channels which made me flavour of the month for the few days we were there.
Went to the beach everyday ( donkeys at the w/end). Beach very child friendly, even had a chance to watch the local lifeboat crew doing some training/practising !!(DISHY !!!):T
We went in the swimming pool most days - Centre Parcs standard it wasn't, but then it wasn't CP prices either !!. About the standard of the older style council run pools. But, staff seemed very hot on safety - no running/diving etc, which is always good to see when there are so many children about.
Booklet of vouchers were rather hit and miss - 4 Free kids activity sessions - so my one was able to do one or two things every day ! - PGL instructors too so I knew he was in safe hands. But most of meal deals were based on 2 adults paying full price to get cheap kids meals, so couldn't make use of them.
Weather was BRILLIANT, as it has been everywhere, but beach was just perfect, and close enough to walk to if you wanted. Spent a small fortune on 2p arcade games on the site, and in the arcades on road to the beach.
Could have happily stayed longer. Was strongly tempted to ask how much to stay on for an extra couple of days, so that shows just how good it was !:D
Would definitely go again if had the chance at such a bargin price - did make use of the bars, arcades and shop, so Pontins did get some money from me.
Must add that all staff I came in contact with were very friendly and happy to help. One item I reported not working was replaced within a couple of hours.
Any more offers/competitions like this, and I am DEFINITELY interested.
I would also recommend it to family and friends. I have stayed on this site in the basic rooms, and slept (well laid down on ) the bed-settee, so I would also recommend STRONGLY that the £30 upgrade is a good investment !!;)

We (myself and my OH) went to Hemsby on the weekend of the 14th July. Was really good, so thank you to the person providing the codes! Luckily enough, my OH won a competition whilst there (Adult Starquest), so we're off to Blackpool in November for another free holiday.

Has anyone been to Blackpool, that could tell me what the resort is like?
