Still annoyed I can't take advantage of this. Can't go away until 21st / 22nd July. Ahhhh
Its so frustrating when a great deal comes along and you can't take advantage.Baby Year 1: Oh dear...on the move
Lily contracted Strep B Meningitis Dec 2006  Now seemingly a normal little monster.

How about when you've paid full price to go to hemsby for the week 8-15 july and now finding we could've gone a few days for nothing  but still hope everyone has a fantastic time and maybe see some of u there heheSome people see the glass half full, others see the glass half empty - the enlightened are simply grateful to have a glass0 -

The Pontins that is called Southport is not actually in Southport!!! It is in Ainsdale on Sea approximately 5 miles (south) from Southport itself. You can get a train from Ainsdale station (approx 10 min walk from the camp) to Southport, it is 2 stops and Southport is at the end of this line. The other end is Liverpool! Otherwise it is a 10 minute or so drive along the coast road.
Should have said the camp is right on the beach which is wide and sandy. Take binoculars to see the sea if the tide is out!!! Never been in the camp, so cannot comment on what it is like.0 -
Just rung and got the last 1bed ground floor at Hemsby for 14th July. Actually get back from Holiday that day so will be having a longer break!!
Thanks op0 -

I did think about this but to be honest I'm far too worn out (and skint) come the end of the 7 days I dont think I could handle any extra days :rotfl: We do have a great time though!!Some people see the glass half full, others see the glass half empty - the enlightened are simply grateful to have a glass0
