it's true there are a few usual suspects who have to post snidey remarks no matter what the offer..
'dobbiesloan' is the one that springs to mind, but there are others

The offer is back open. I don't know if people have cancelled But there are places available again SO GET CALLING.
Hope you all manage to get a holiday, places are limited. I just managed to book in at Hemsby, was the only place near us that had the 14th weekend available & hubbys boss had agreed to having that one off.
Good Luck & Thanks again to the OP
    hugs
Helen (who isn't angry with hubby now especially as he got out his card to pay for the upgrade room so we could all fit)
We don't need to do it perfectly - good enough is exactly that GOOD ENOUGH.

Hope you all have a great time. Perhaps you could all arrange to meet in the club room or something in the evening. Wish I could have gone but I have other commitments that weekend and also I have the dog.

Just phoned up and there is still space for Southport and Prestatyn Sands for next monday 4 nts. Unfortunately no good for me as would need a weekend. She did say however that there are weekends still available at Hemsby for anyone who is close the Norfolk. A little too far for me as I'm in Lancashire.

    Get phoning!!

I've lost count of the times we've been to Camber, ok it's basic but where eles could you stay for 3 nights , 2 adults 3 kids for £60? Plenty for the kids to do, loads of space to play, no "can we go the the bowling alley/can we go to the swimming pool/ can we go to Thorpe Park".

We've got two italian students staying with us, it'll keep them occupied too.

The best advice I can give is take your George Foreman grill, a toaster, a box of netto/Aldi goodies, water bottles and plenty of snacks then you spend little or nothing

By the way, where do I find the link to print the poster?

See you at the bar on 7th july!

PS has to be post of the month

If anyone cannot get the weekend/place they want for free, I saw this in the ASDA July mag that I picked up today (and you still get a freebie):

"Book a bargain 3 or 4 night self catering break at Pontin's for the whole family from £99 AND UPON ARRIVAL RECEIVE A DV3 DIGITAL VIDEO CAMERA AND RECORDER (RRP £139) FREE!!! For more information, or to book, call 0870 6045601 and quote ASCA" - This is not a misprint, it definitely says ASCA not ASDA -

I have no idea about video cameras/recorders and how good/bad they are but there is a nice picture of it in the ASDA mag on page 95.

Thought this might be a good offer for anyone who missed out and is disappointed, who also needs a video camera and recorder.
