    Gordon!!!

I cant believe how excited I am to just be getting him back....:p I've actually ached some days where ive missed him so much....

and sharing someone elses space is hard on everyone and im really grateful to my sister and her partner etc. we didnt think we'd end up being here this long, but theres an end in sight now :T

Ah that is so sweet that you are so excited to have him back too, will your parents miss him?

It is hard sharing, there is nothing like having your own space to do what you want, when you want.

yeah i think they really will.
Hes been there like 7 weeks, and hes just become their new routine..... who knows maybe they'll get a dog themselves now. Even when he just stayed there when we went on holiday, they wanted him back....

I never lived in student housing etc, and although i shared, we were never really always home together, whereas here we are a bit. I know its been hard for them too, having these two unemployed people bumming about the house, but we've really tried, lik always doing our washing up, only using the washing machine when its free etc, and doing stuff for them as well, like cleaning etc....but its their space and im not sure id be happy for this long if it was role reversal......

but yeah I do just want my own things around me, to sit on my own sofa, have my books on their shelves, cook whatever meals i want, with my cooking stuff etc.....guess I must be getting old LOL

It's amazing how attached you get to them, even when we have looked after OH's brothers dog, we looked after him for a day a couple of weeks ago and it was sad when they came to collect him, DD1 cried for ages.

Next door to us have a Yorkshire Terrier called Missy and my eldest said once that she wanted to go to Missy's house for a sleepover - imagine that!!!

At least you have somewhere to move to now, is the weather getting warmer up there now? I remember you said it was so cold, it felt warmer here on Friday, roll on Spring.

  • Well done on the job, what is it doing? Hopefully nothing too strenuous. As you say the extra money will come in handy.
