You are invited!!! Cheese butties all round (as long as you like Red Leicester!)
The frozen stuff arrived today, I was asked about some Quorn sausages, and I said they were fresh and I had received them. He said 'ah, thought they were frozen. I couldn't find them so put you a bag of quorn fillets in instead, have them anyway!'
Result ! (although I felt a bit guilty knowing my fridge was stuffed full of so much fresh juice!)
Picked up a supermarket mystery shop today. £13 fee plus £5 for shopping. I've decided I'll only do supermarket or fast food/pub mystery shops so this is perfect. I have to buy three bags of shopping so I'll buy £5 worth of cheap beans/kidney beans/peas/tomatoes.
Hairdressers - definitely - do you have a Girls World? I gave mine bright red nail varnish lips when I was about 11................she looked like a right tart after that!!!0 -
Hi - just read the whole thread - well done with everything! I applied to AQA today, thanks for the idea, fingers crossed.0
-
Good luck moose!
Wow - the whole thread - I'm flattered - hope I didn't bore you too much!!0 -
No, never had a Girls World. To be honest never really recovered on the dolls front after boy next door cut Barbies toes off:eek: .
I did the same mystery shop as you!!!!!!! Service was atrocious - hope they all get a rollocking!!! Missed out on another today - didn't check email for 2 hrs & it had been & gone  .
Never got the Superdrug summer bag - did you sign up for that? But got a postcard today for a free sun tan body lotion £3.99, so well chuffed!
Got told I was tight today!!!!!! (By a guy on a DMP..... go figure). I took it as a compliment
.
Have good night all.A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

Wasn't bored for a second Oakdale_Minx! It was truly inspirational. I'd been meaning to read someone's debt diary in full for a while and I'm so glad I chose yours. I'll start my own any day soon, but gosh what a big thing to deal with.
How's it going with AQA?
I've had experience of bullying at work and can relate to everything you've said on the subject. Be strong.0 -
Ali - I was a Sindy girl myself. I was also fascinated by the Girls World and the fact you could pull her hair through her head to make it longer! The superdrug bag was a freebie from the freebie board, it is really useful.
moose - there are some really good diaries on the board. I think there should be some kind of book published with excerpts!! Have a go, it really helps to write it down.
AQA is good, but it does fill me with a bit of dread that I have resigned myself to needing a second job.
My boss has backed off a bit. I can't work out why. I'm being very cautious, but just as friendly!
I am getting hacked off with the amount of time it is taking to sort out my bank charge claims. I know the courts are busy with so many people claiming (me included obviously!) but I'm waiting for two court dates and a reply about me objecting to citicards wanting a stay. Capital One still haven't defended, and on the CAG board, there is someone two days ahead of me who has had a full settlement offer - WHERE'S MINE??!! This has been going on since June all in and it looks like it migh be Christmas before I see anything substantial.0 -
That's good news about your boss, very good news. I really do hope that gets sorted out for you.
I'm chasing banks for charges too, only just begun, and I'm in the poo with all of them, so treading carefully! Best of luck with that Oakdale_Minx.
Did you see on South Today that there's a road in Poole where a developer has offered all the residents the market value of their property plus £100,000 to leave? You're not lucky enough to live there are you!
Got my AQA test today, blimey it's not easy is it!0 -
I certainly have seen the news about the houses - the ones off Herbert Avenue. No, I'm not lucky enough to live there - if someone offered me £100,000 over my house value I would say yes please!!!
GOOD NEWS!!!! :T
Capital One will settle in full!!!!! :j
£467.48!!!! :T
Woohoo!!!!!!
I might even give myself a night off AQA as a treat.0 -
Excellent news about Cap One! Well done!
Sent my application form and test to AQA today, fingers crossed, thanks again for putting me on to them. Do you mind me asking how many hours a week you're working on that? I'm applying to 82ask too. I'd like to do it full time as I'm not working at the moment.0 -
Hi Moose - i'm doing about 35 hours a week on AQA. That is on top of a full time job, so I won't be able to keep that number of hours up for long! After this month, I'm going to probably aim for £500 a month, so that will be around 25 hours a week.0
