    Hi Oakdale Minx,

I have just read entire thread and must say thanks for taking the time to update. I am seething tho' at your oh who seems to take you for granted: your food, electricity, gas, beer/wine, and he contributes a measly £12- £15!

And you do all the work too, shopping, cooking, emotional housework and then he expects you to run around and buy beer and take time out to phone and alter arrangements for the prize YOU won and gave him! :rotfl: :rotfl:

Well perhaps you're too nice for your own good. You deserve more.

Hope work is not grinding you down. Bullying at work is a terrible thing and can sap confidence. Can you challenge your boss or take out a grievance?

I think you've done brilliantly, tackling each aspect of your debt systematically. Fantastic. Hope you get all those charges back soon.:T

Hi Ali - I feel quite honoured that you used my diary to 'confess'. I think debt is personal to everyone - some people wouldn't be worried about clearing my amount of debt because I wasn't behind or anything, but I see it as a millstone around my neck!! It's all relative and no, you won't get slung of DFW!! We need you!!

Verbatim - hi - hhhhhm........the OH thing......I know, it still all bubbles round in my mind about my situation with him.....I really don't know sometimes....

Work is grinding me down, my boss has told me that she has been looking through my work in the shared folders set up and basically wants more work done , quicker. She is changing my job even though she is there as an interim Director not a permanent one (god help me if she stays) and she is slowly getting rid of the webmaster part because it's something she doesn't understand. She wants to make me Comms Manager, but i'm already the PR and Web Manager, so basically she is tryig to shape my job into being a 'lesser' version of what she is doing. I've beenused to working alone for the past couple of years, so I'm not used to handing stuff over or consulting her. But everyone keeps saying she is rude to me.........I don't know.....

Was supposed to be doing a mystery shop today and I messed up. I'd decided to drop the mystery shopping because of AQA, but I'd committed to this one, and it had a £17 spend on lunch at a local pub as part of the deal!!

Unfortunately, I've deleted the email with the link to the questionnaire so I didn't have the brief and I had nothing to fill in!

I emailed them and asked if I can re-schedule to next Sunday.

OH has gone up to London with the three kids from the footy club to meet Golden Balls. I hope I get at least something autographed!!!

Maybe I am too nice, but if he had given me a competition prize to take three people to something as exciting, I would have done something/bought something as a thankyou - and would have asked the other three to say thankyou or at least a thankyou note! But no, nothing, they have all trotted off with another adult and my OH 18 year old son for the day and i'm stuck here!

Been AQA'ing. Hit £560 today. Going to do a bit more today. My target for next Friday is £660, and £730 by the Bank Holiday, then try for £800 by the end of the 31st.

hi Gemmzie - it is Any Questions Asked

    http://www.issuebits.com

To be honest, I always spend all weekends online anyway, I've not got much more to do after my OH clears off, so I would have been at the PC anyway - I'm doing kind of 4-7 Mon/Tue/Thu/Fri and 5-9 Wednesday (OH is at footy practice), then from about 1- 7 Sat and Sunday, off and on inbetween housework etc.

I've just given my car a 'go faster stripe' from the side of the bumper to the wheel arch reversing down the driveway at a slightly lopsided angle......that will teach me to decide to treat myself to a bottle of diet coke from Tesco Express instead of 16p value squash....my poor old Carlton tank...._pale_

Oh yeah? If she tell you to do something differently, confirm it by email or whatever you use. This avoids the "I never said that" thing when something important that your boss doesn't understand doesn't get done.

Sorry for being a cynic and everything...

work is getting bad. Colleagues are pushing me to talk to HR and my last boss has told the HR manager about the problems. I'm a bit cross with her, as that should have been my decision, but I know she did if for the right reasons. I've written down loads I can think of since my new boss started on 1 July and I'm going to have a confidential but off the record chat with HR. I am terrified it will backfire and to be honest feel pushed into it by others. Apparently the HR manager feels there should be a record of my concerns in case things escalate.

I cried on the way home. I really feel down. I'm 36, not married, no children (colleague came in with 2 week old baby and loked so happy), no plans to travel (another colleague just come back from 4 weeks in Vietnam and Borneo) and I feel trapped and empty.

On DFW stuff .....today is day 14 for Citicards with my court claim. It was issued on 8 August. Apparently though, online claims get an extra 5 days, but they are really pushing it to acknowledge in time.

Another little milestone. Exactly £600 on AQA. Nine days to do £200 to hit my target. Gulp.

    Thankyou Beanie Lou.....

I went to HR today and had my meeting. She was lovely and told me (very off the record) a few comments that others had made about my manager and felt if I could ride it out, then hopefully she won't have her secondment made any longer. She feels I might benefit from a trip to my GP and felt my self confidence was now very low. She said that if I went to Occy Health they would sign me off as sick (which I don't want) but it would be documented why I was off. She was really lovely and said I shouldn't be made to feel the way I was and has told me to make notes, keep all emails, and run EVERYTHING past her then she can't say I haven't done something.

Anyway. Citicards still haven't acknowledged the court claim, only a few days now.

Gapbuster haven't paid me for the mystery shopping visit I did on 1 July. It's only £5 reimbursement plus a £6 fee, but I should have got it today and I know they have the receipt as I sent it via their upload system. I'll email them.

I wonder if they will pay me next month - I did a fast food one for them and they owe me £15 I think for that one.

How long is the secondment still to last?
