Hi, received my samsung laptop today after ordering wednesday from positive it and its connecting to the internet without the 3 dongle in and the connection says netgear, this happened before i even registered the dongle ?..does anyone know what could be going on please, thanks.

Do you have broadband at home?

Is the laptop connected by a wire to the router?

If no to the above you are using a neighbours internet

I have tiscali connected to tower which is not wireless and there's nothing except the mouse connected to laptop..OMG !! r u serious..Whats the implications with that scenario ??

Does the tiscali router have an aerial sticking up from it?
If so your are open to YOUR internet being stolen.

no it connects to the phone line.

Yes but the router might have a wireless feature enabling the laptop to connect to it.
So if you can connect to it with no security, others can too

your router login page should come up,asking for username and password
the default on most is - Admin-Admin

HI my daughter recieved an old ipod as a gift yesterday & I have tried to download itunes but recieve a message stating itunes isnt a trusted site & cant be done can anybody help us to get around this problem please? The laptop is a Samsung R519

You need to add it to net intelligence in the first instance as a trusted site, but even then i recall someone having problems until the put the laptop back to "new"
