Advice required!! - AK Solutions Loan company AKA Money essentials
Comments
-
I recently got a loan through AK Solutions, they took a fee of around £50 for a £2500 loan, at first I was reluctant to pay having paid various other brokers before with little or no help, their advisors were very reassuring and made me comfortable to go ahead. I received my documents 2 days later and the money in my account not long after, needless to say I was so relieved when all went ahead as they advised as I was dubious from the start. Darrengillen did you ever call them to ask why you hadn’t received documents? I had to call to check my delivery address and the advisor was very helpful.
Ladylyrical I would say its common sense to wait for funds before making rash decisions. I wouldn’t have taken any advice of this kind as concrete. And Mollysmum maybe you forgot that you gave your card details? I suggest you call AK Solutions first, I’m sure it’s a misunderstanding. They couldn’t have taken money out of your account unless you gave your card details to authorise. Hope this helps!
I wonder how long you have been working for them ? biggest load of rubbish i have ever read.
NEVER PAY A BROKER TO FIND A LOAN FOR YOU, just go to your bank, credit union, or google.
nearly all brokers will just take your fee, refer you to someone like FLM, and then hope you do not know that you can claim the fee back minus the £5.00 they are allowed to charge if you dont want to take the loan up:j:beer: :j0 -

Hey everyone, after reading your stories, I have registered here today hoping that the users of this forum can help me with some advice regarding AK Solutions/Money essentials.
I had applied for a loan on-line, and AK solutions (money essentials) contacted me. They advised me they could guarantee me a loan, all I had to do was pay a broker fee of £38 then the paperwork would be sent out and once completed the loan would be transferred into my account.
Feeling very reluctant, but without thinking I starting to give my card detail. Once I had given my card number, expiry date and start date the advisor asked for my 3 digit security number on the back of my card, wakeing up to my senses I told the advisor I was not happy to give those details and asked her if I could have time to think about my decision.
Anyway after reading all your threads I now realise that I nearly made a huge mistake. But my question is...are they still able to take money out of my account without the 3 digit security code on the back of my card?
I would be very grateful for any advise!0 -

If I can decipher your post enough.....
If you had read the posts above yours you would see it is a scam, you have paid one company who have told all the others you are an easy target.
You are far too happy to give all your bank details out to anyone giving you some flannel so they all fancy having a chunk of your money.
Research ANY company who promises you anything. If you had done, you wouldn't have been ripped off.
To make it clear... NEVER pay money to anyone who say they will give you money.0 -

Forced entry, theft and assualt just some of the charges you'll get from the police for doing what you suggest.
You need to take it further via the authorties that regulate them, doing what you want to do won't acheive anything but getting you a criminal record.0 -
Well done for resurecting an otherwise gone and forgotten post.
Now it is back ay the top so more people will be aware of the scam awaiting them.0 -
I have made a few edits based on the feedback provided on here. Let me know if I have missed anythingWe are absolutely a scam and certainly do just take money from people without their authorisation. It is slanderous to suggest otherwise.
We are one of many loan brokerage companies in the UK and we pride ourselves on an open, ethical and transparent business model of taking your money and failing to send out any paperwork.
We have been issued and hold a consumer credit license, recently renewed by the Office of Fair Trading. The Office of Fair Trading has complete knowledge of our business model and we are a fully licensed credit brokerage company as are all the other scam companies out there, this doesn't mean anything.
When you the customer, make a loan application with us, you are advised we do not charge upfront fees, but we most definitely do. This is because we believe it is fair for a customer to pay for a service they have not yet received.
You choose when you pay the fee and we then ignore this, and usually this is taken between 1 and 4 minutes after the initial application is made. This date is agreed and then confirmed by you then completely ignored. If you’re not happy with the service by the time it comes to pay our fee, you can simply contact us and rearrange the date on which the fee is taken, or cancel the service completely, whichever you prefer, again all instructions will be ignored because you are desperate and we take advantage of this.
We aim to match you, our customer with whoever might be daft enough to lend you money based on your circumstances.
Because we work independently on behalf of ourselves and not on behalf of the lenders, quite often the best lender for you is one we don’t have a direct relationship with hence we can blame them.
We therefore won’t necessarily receive information from lenders to tell us if and when a loan is paid out and so unfortunately, there is no way that it would be possible for us to charge the fee on pay out of the loan, which is of course utter BS but hey ho, like we care.
If an application is taking longer than expected and it looks like you, our customer, will not receive a loan, you can easily rearrange the date on which the fee is paid at any time by simply contacting us and blah blah blah, we will ignore you.
We cannot help you, cancel, or refund unless you tell us you are unhappy with our service and if you do we will ignore you anyways.
We also cannot offer you alternative loan options unless you make us aware that the first matches we make are not right for you, but we have your fee in the bank so could we care less, no!
If you tell us you do not like the loan options provided in the first instance, every effort will be made to help find you a more suitable lender. Yeah right, and Santa Claus is real.
If any customer is not satisfied with the service in any way, all you need to do is contact us and request a refund, which will most defintely be ignored. Queries of this nature will usually be dealt with within 7000 working days. If any customer wishes to contact us to cancel their application for a loan, or request a refund please email me and I will delete your email immediately
