I'm really angry at selfish, self-centred people.....

....they seem to be everywhere. They're on here, they're in my house...what's wrong with everyone?!

Put other people before yourselves for once for crying out loud! It's not hard!

They're spreading like triffids. :rotfl:Save yourselves before it's too late...........

Sod the kettle, I've reached the stage where the wine is required.

Unhinged? Mmmmmm, I can live with that. :D

I have selfish family members who seem to ask for the moon on a stick and get it..whilst I ask if I'm completely stuck and usually don't get help. When I'm re-incarnated that's what I'm coming back as 'a world revolves round me person who gets away with it'. I'd just like to sample what it's like!;)

    Hi aliasojo,
I do know what you mean - sometimes the way people treat others is really depressing. Maybe we need a "Reasons to be cheerful" theme here to counter the badness...I'll start:
Today I read an article about the chief exec of a cancer charity and it reminded me of last summer. My grandmother was dying, gradually, of bowel cancer and there was a period of about a week when my parents, my sister and I were all with her, helping to look after her. She insisted on staying at home and died in her own bed.
The lovely thing I want to share is the way my grandmother was looked after, by her (paid) carers and by the district nurses, who visited every day and night, and by Marie Curie nurses.
She was lifted, turned, washed so gently and lovingly - you would have thought they were all members of her family.
She was spoken to with respect (although mainly unconscious) and treated always as a person.
It was inspiring and a very special time...so ironically I have some great memories of her dying. It will always be a part of me, and I hope that the caring attitudes of the carers and nurses will stay with me and help me to be less selfish and small-minded.

    Have a nice evening!

Aw, that's so sad and so lovely all at the same time if you get my meaning.

But no, sorry this is most definitely a ranting thread tonight, I am so not in the mood to count my blessings. My 'blessings' are dwindling as I type and if I see one more person on here who is up their own backside, I will probably get banned because of my reply to them. :D

I do appreciate your comments though. :o I wish there were more selfless peope like those who cared for your GrandMother, the world would be a warmer, friendlier, nicer place to be.
