There's a stack down in DT.
I came in to this world with nothing and I've still got most of it left. :rolleyes:0 -

He is a British citizen living in Britain. Does the fact that he doesn't believe in what you believe in deprive him of the benefits any other citizen would get?
(ps before anyone gets in it, I can't claim any benefits, I am a non-EU migrant in the UK)0 -
What kind of job Graham, and are you posting on company time?
Anyway I don't agree with what this particular mad mullah says or does, but he's got every right to his opinion up until he breaks the law.
And in fact the message that it's not just brave UK soldiers who are dying in the "war against terror" is something that ought to be getting through to the general public because it recruits and hardens more extremists than any radical preacher ever did.0 -

Tell you what let us come back and check the same facts in the second half of the year when the Tories are in power'Just think for a moment what a prospect that is. A single market without barriers visible or invisible giving you direct and unhindered access to the purchasing power of over 300 million of the worlds wealthiest and most prosperous people' Margaret Thatcher0 -

Nope, not in my opinion, If he was white and a dolite preaching white supremacy I would still slate him.
Julieq Do you think he plucked Wooton Bassett out of the air for his march ????...... No he didn't he did it because he knew it was a symbol .Yes many Afgans have died and I personally was against the Iraq war and going into Afganistan. He could march to Westminster .
Where I have a BIG problem with tw@ts Like Choudary is where was his preaching against Saddam Hussain when he was killing thousands of his own people.FACT was he didn't give a damn.....
The man is a Muslim fanatic who wants another Christian-Muslim war to right the supposed wrongs of the Crusades and Israel......
Try putting the boot on the other foot, if it was the BNP wanting to march the vast majority of the British people would still think they shouldn't march......
How many British muslims went to Iraq when Saddam Hussain was in power to fight against his tyranny and free the people?????0 -
OK, so disagree with him. But that doesn't mean (as Misskool points out) that he should be treated differently to other people here. If he's abusing the system then call the government benefit abuse helpline.
And I still fail to see how paying 25 grand to a single issue fanatic is bankrupting us.0 -

amcluesent wrote: »Mad Mullah Gets More Than Frontline Soldier
Anjem Choudary, the extremist cleric who wants to lead a protest march through Wootton Bassett, claims £25,740 in benefits to subsidise his hate preaching. Guido questions how he can be seeking work when he spends all his time rabble rousing in broadcast studios and on demonstrations.
In contrast a frontline soldier, fighting Choudary’s taliban allies in Afghanistan, takes home £17,004 for risking his life.
Aren't socialist utopia brilliant?
He's not on JSA he's on income support, Housing Benefit, Council Tax benefit and child support.[strike]-£20,000[/strike] 0!0
