So this is what the government's "Moola for Mad Mullah" programme is all about...0

If he is working for the Conservative Party then why doesn't he only blog about them in a positive way? During expensesgate he was just as scathing about the tory troughers as he was about the labour ones.
I don't doubt for a moment that some of his sources are in the Conservative Party but he must have Labour sources as well. It was obvious that Cameron knew nothing about the Hoon/Hewitt plot at Prime Ministers Questions yesterday. Guido broke that first - he must have Labour sources.
Of course he's going to try to protect all of his sources at all costs. No one would ever trust him with information again if he didn't.
It's a bit like Politicalbetting.com. Mike Smithson, the host of that site, is Libdem. Most of the posters at the moment are tories or people who intend to vote tory this time. Back in 2005 when Labour were more popular there were far more left wing posters than there are now, just as there were more bulls on this site before the recession.
Having said all that, I don't see why Guido's personal political views are relevant - it's great to be able to read a big story before Sky and the BBC get hold of it.
I had to laugh at Nick Robinson being left with egg on his face yesterday, denying there was any truth in Guido's rumour. It was ages before the BBC got its act together. Good to know our licence fee is spent on such able political journalists...0 -

I know Nick Robinson wasn't very happy when he aknowledged him on national tv(last 30 seconds of the interview).

I think they must have fallen out

Post reported for racism - If the poster did any research she would discover that the British armed forces now include those who could not be descried as 'white people' of whom some have been killed in Afghanistan. This particular mad mullah isn't a criminal incidentally, he just holds differing views on the relative values of brown and white people, and is pointing out there have been a fair few innocent brown people killed for no obvious benefit as well as the white people but they're less likely to be remembered in Dorset.I think....0

You mean like the much loved Gurkhas (well not by the enemy who wouldn't like it up em ) as well as UK volunteers of all race and creeds, I salute them :T'Just think for a moment what a prospect that is. I'm not a fan of julieq's, or Mad Mullahs, or British adventures abroad. But I think playing the racist card is not really on, it just muddies the already unclear waters.
What would please me most would be British squaddies, and families, marching through Wootoon Bassett against the war. And the govt listening of course.
War is not good. A pointless war is far worse.0 -
I wonder if this thread will get up to ten pages before its locked.
Personally I dont think people who dont want to work should receive benefits - and no one should need long term housing benefit because there should be council houses for them to live in.0 -

Why are we giving this lunatic fringe the oxygen of publicity?
Let them (all 35 of them) march, ignore them and it'll be far more hurtful to their "cause" than the PM getting involved and 4000 press following them around. Morons always love attention.
Excellent post.
Alternatively, how about play them at their own game, & line up to watch them whilst munching on sausage & bacon sandwiches? It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.0
