Primus £15 quarterly rebate for signing up via Uswitch

Has anyone who signed up to Primus Freetalk Plus 1 or 2 via Uswitch when they first started offering a quarterly £15 rebate actually had their first rebate yet? I went live on 26th March and I've just viewed my 3rd monthly invoice (dated 27th June) but there's no sign of the £15 credit having been applied to my account.
Has anyone got theirs?

I got my first e-bill yesterday. I was beginning to wonder when do we get the rebate. Also it sounds stupid, how do I read the customised bill. What is cvs? When I clicked it I was given a list of 'folders' to open it. What should I do? Any help is appreciated.0

When the front page of your Account Statement opens, click on the View Details link on the right (just to the left of the Total for this bill).Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.0 -
i am also in the same situation that i also signed up via the uswitch website for the £15 credit per quater for the first12 months. my 3rd bill came today by email and i was expecting there to be the £15 credit but there is no credit either showing on my balace.
i also sent 4 emails to primus cs asking about the promotion credit over the last 4 weeks and i have not had a reply to any of them.
i hope someone out there can give us some advice on this!
cheers!0 -
Same here. Our switch over date from OneTel to Primus was 20th March and have not received our £15 quarterly rebate.
I have emailed them today querying this and will post here with their response.0 -
hi again,
just thought i would try and call primus toight using the free call 0800 number and spoke to cs about this. they said that my account was set up for the £15 credit per quater and that it will only appear on my account as acredit after the third payment has been succesfully debited from my bank acct.
so looks like good news after all and hopefully this will happen in the next few days or at my next montly bill in july!
cheers!0 -
can confirm that I have got my £15 off them so seem to be kosher ..or halal or whatever you wanna call it. It came on my fourth bill.0

Thanks. I did that, still showed nothing.
I got through CS at the end. She checked for me and didn't understand it either. The matter has now been passed to their London team.
I really want to see how much do they charge my 0844 calls (like those 1p or 2p/min by international calls provider). According to the reply from the CS, Primus charges the same as BT, then it is 3p/min weekday, 1p/min evenings and weekends. Are these extra? I really need to see my bill first before making more 0844 calls.0 -

The basic advice for those with a BT landline and using any CPS calls provider is to dial the 1280 prefix to 'hop back onto BT' for 084/087 calls. Then, at least, you'll be certain to pay the price shown on the MS Callcheckers.
However, although BT is cheapest evenings and weekends for 0845 and 0870 calls, the MSE UK Callchecker shows there are some cheaper ways of making them during the day during the week. Then, it may be that the cheapest way of calling an 0845 or 0870 number involves using the 1280 prefix followed by an 0844xxxXXXX number followed by the 0845 or 0870 number in full (26 digits in total). Sometimes, you wonder whether it's worth it but, for what may be a long call, it undoubtedly is.Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Thanks for the replies.
I'll look out for my first rebate next month when I get my 4th bill.0 -
I've also had my 3rd invoice last week but no $15 rebate. Going to wait for the 4th invoice before complaining.
