Mine was flashed when I sent it to microsoft for repair, they did fix but replaced the DVD drive so I had to flash it again. Normally if its not a drive error they wont even check, but its still a chance you take, worst they will do is send it back to you unrepaired.

I didn't know they had to check if it was flashed, I assumed there was a broken seal of some sort to give it away. If it comes to it and I have to ask for him to just send it back and refund my money I shall give sending it to microsoft ago. Thanks for that!

Hopefully we both get one soon, the website was changed at the start of the week to take away all the christmas offers and things so something is going on, but it has stopped chaneging again now. Hopefully it wont be much longer now.

As long as the seal hasn't been broken when it was flashed they wouldn't suspect it has been flashed so are likely to not check for that. You do send at your own risk, the worst they can do is charge you for the delivery costs and not repair it, but they will have to return it.

Thank you, I will have to check that when I get it back if it hasnt been fixed as I still have about 9 months untill the 3 years is actually up. RROD came just two weeks after getting it back from him being flashed aswell.

Typical lol, but you can rest assured the flashing and RROD are not linked.

Good to know.
I think i'll probably give it a few more weeks and then if still I get no replies i'll probably go and visit the address on the website to ask for it back. I'm only an hour from warrington on the train.
