I have a slight problem with my conscience because I have a perfectly good pair of straighteners already. I think they are some of the babyliss pro230 ones (can't be bothered to go upstairs and look!) that do a very nice job.
Got GHDs 14 months ago and the difference is amazing..never a single issue and i use them everyday.0 -

Funny you should say that. I have the Babyliss pro elegance too. My hair has become very straw like but I'd put it down to changes in my hair texture over time, although when my hairdresser uses GHDs on my hair he never has a problem. Maybe it's time I returned to the fold and bought some more GHDs.0 -
I brought some GHDs the limited edition pink kiss ones, I purchased them from ebay back in april 2009, when i recieved them I phoned GHD to find out if they were genuine and was told i would have to send them in to be checked out for sure, i didn't bother...they are still working fine, but I still don't no to this day if they're the real 1s or not :S
Has anybody got the same GHDs, so i could compare my own? I did look up in alot of detail about the difference between the fakes and genuine...any help would be appreciated:staradmin Live, Laugh & Love=Life :staradmin0 -

Do you not have a code in them to tell? GHDs also have a reflective hologram strip which says they are GHDs on them.0 -

Yes they do have a reflective hologram strip on the label attached to the wire, and on the actual straightners themselves:staradmin Live, Laugh & Love=Life :staradmin0 -

Yes the code wasn't recognised, but when i phoned they said they could still be genuine, but i would need to send them in, i'd feel abit gutted though to found out they were fakes after spending £70, so i just left it. I do really want to know though...:staradmin Live, Laugh & Love=Life :staradmin0
