  • Just started looking for a pair of the mk IV styler one's for the better half...

Sadly ASOS code has expired..and on gorgeoushop you have to pay P&P.

Does anyone know of a new ASOS code or somewhere cheap to get the styler one's?

    Many thanks!!

I've checked for you cooking-mama and you're mistaken. You actually posted in the 'Discount Codes 'n Vouchers' board in the 'ASOS - New Codes' thread;):

  • If you are buying ANY GHD's this year, be very careful as I have been conned twice now and dont know what to do about it.

The first was from a site called eBid, a guy from Stockport selling all kinds, took my money, i recieved them in double quick time but they were used so I sent them back and have had no refund or response from him.

Second site was a copy of the official site and was in the top Google Ad words so one of the ads you see in the yellow bit at the top. This site is called http://www.ghdofficials.com/ and after close inspection of the email address I recieved there was a post on a site claiming they are a fake site. This was 2 days ago and I've still had no response from them regarding the item.

So far I have thrown away nearly £140 on conmen. What makes it worse is its Christmas and now I have no money left to even think about buying some from a shop.

    Be Careful.

Thats pretty gutting- you didn't say so, so I will assume the answer is no, but did you pay by credit card for either? you may stand some scope at getting something back if you did.

Just for those that want to check to verify the GHDs they may be looking at, the actual offical/authentic site is here:
    http://www.ghdhair.com/
where you can check the site name which your considering buying from. GHDs know who they sell to and will say if the straighteners you have seen are from a site they are selling to or not.

Lucky I found this thread, I was so close to buying fake GHD's, I feel sorry for those people who have brought from dodgy websites.

It looks as though I have missed out on some cracking deals but I'm after the GHD Salon Styler (the wide plates), does anyone know of any offers at the moment, even if its small I want to feel like I'm getting some kind of deal and it doesn't help that a lot of websites I've checked are completely out of stock at the moment! Doesn't look like I'm going to get any for xmas :(
  • I got some GHD's for xmas. Was so happy til we realised the security label has been ripped prior to Amazon posting them. Looks like I've got someone's return :( Not happy.

if you buy from a salon you will not get ripped off and before you buy you can get the serial number off the label and check with ghd if they are fake or not if you are buying less than £90 they are most likely fake and all them on ebay are fake ones they just wreck your hair as temp is all wrong

anyway i had a gift set bought for my xmas prezzie from my 2 dd the new black precious gift set comes with hairdryer bought from a local salon its brill
