Bought some off here for my gf they seem fine to me!

Groovy cart dot co dot uk / discounts ( CANT POST LINK)

They may be fine but are they genuine? the best way to check is to get the serial number from them (on the sticker) and check on the authorised GHD website. I did a check of the site for you and got this:

Purple ones were a limited edition last xmas you can not buy them anymore as ghd change the colours every few months as my friend works in a salon and they have the latest colours which for the xmas is a gift set with travel hairdryer cost about £150 in black and silver i have seen them they are really nice

if you buy new purple ones they are fake you will find them on ebay dont buy from there as the majority are fake go to your local hairdressers and look at them

Did they deliver within 1-3 days,??

Sorry I didn't respond sooner but I haven't been online since Thursday 29th October as there was a death in the family.

In response to your question I am still waiting on the ghds and I have emailed them today but they haven't responded yet. I will post on here if I receive a response or the ghds.

Don't know whether you have had any response from Girlznight yet but I had problems with delivery from them a couple of months ago.

I placed my order on 20th July - I was going on holiday for 2 weeks and wanted to allow time for the items to arrive as they were for a friends birthday on August 12th.

Order hadn't arrived when I got home so I phoned on 10th August. I was assured that although the person I spoke to did not know what had happenned to the order it would be sent again that same day 1st class to ensure delivery for the 12th.

Order had not arrived by the 12th so I phoned again and they were adamant the items had been despatched from their warehouse on the 10th.

Order arrived on the13th and had been sent via special delivery next day service. The items clearly hadn't been posted on Monday.

I emailed them to complain and never heard anything more?

So not good customer service at all! You will get your order I'm sure - but be prepared to wait!

I still have not heard anything from them so I am going to telephone them in the morning?
  • I placed an order for pink GHD's on 16 September 2009, unfortunately I had to cancel the following day on the 17 September 2009. I placed the order through their website but phoned to cancel the order. Spoke to gentleman who said there was no problem, the order had not been despatched & they would cancel the order & refund payment to me.

Sent emails requesting refund & got an automatic response saying the order was being sent out to me  Numerous phone calls, when they eventually got answered, assured that payment would be refunded to my account. Excuses of moving premises, accounts section closed, problems with computer etc, put on hold for ages which was very frustrating.

Unfortunately, no money has been refunded to my account & this is now being pursued by my CC Company. So no goods & no refund.

Hope you are all luckier than me. Good luck
