I bought some from hqhair.com go via quidco. The ones to get are the medium ones. I also have the salon ones (wider ones) but the medium ones are the best.0

My daughter's GHDs just packed-up while she was using them (originally bought from Ebay - shimmergirl, last October. Transaction was fine so not dissing shimmergirl). Apparently it's a common problem with GHDs that they just stop working. My daughter has now bought PINK FHIs for £57.99 inc. del. from tops-hair-salon on Ebay (excellent transaction, no problems). She tried her friend's before she bought them and she says they are just as good as GHDs and she needs good ones as she has long, thick hair. So hope this is helpful to someone.
BTW, there is also a market for broken GHDs on Ebay. While I was looking for the new ones for my daughter, saw that people were selling their broken ones, have added mine and they are currently up to £16 with 4 days to go! I'm amazed.:D0 -
Broken ones can be sent to a companya nd they will be replaced FOC, i remember reading about it in the 'I wannna buy it' forum0

If you go on this thread I posted you can get 10% off and a free sample pack with your order: http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=302071
When you find the ghds on the right at the top there is a ghd value deals section as well.
There is a new version of the ghds on there, I don't know what the difference is tbh but the old version are cheaper and are most likely the ones that most people have.
Or this link, which gives you a free luxury gift thanks to tina127 on bobs. Most people have received lots of samples and a hair brush: http://www.handbag.com/offers/offers/hqhair-06/?dcopt=off
The terms state this....
Terms & Conditions: 10% discount excludes orders with electrical products only
So no discount on GHDS:T It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice. :T"A bargain is something you can't use at a price you can't resist."

My hair is shoulder lenght and curly !!!
Hi goggins! my hair is the same (goes very frizzy around the sides aswell!) I was going to buy some GHD's for my birthday last month - SIL has GHD's and used them on my hair and they were brilliant! but I saw an advert for GHS which were £29.99 (inc delivery) and you get 14 day money back guarantee so got them instead and am really glad - they are pretty much exactly the same as GHD but they have a variable temperature and come with free heatmat/travel pouch, tailcomb and clips. bargain! and if you're not satisfied you can send them back!:T0 -

Just seen them on the website, but it doesn't say what temperature they go up to, do you happen to know? I could do with some cheap one's to take on holiday with me next week.0 -
I tag and label these @ Tesco, they look and feel nothing like GHDS,in a plastic, white and blue tesco logo packet.......but if they work for you all the better......pictures to compare....:A:T It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice. :T
