Stenny, hiya, im afraid I don’t think we have met yet, but a welcome to our family here, when in hospital you realise how important it is to have people around you that understand, the other clients in the hospital were like family to me, they still are. And so it helps to have a close community of people that understand like here we have our own family right here, i am of course the angel :A .

Being in hospital has changed me, I have seen it all where I was, we only have one place for murderers, abusers, druggies, Depressed, schizo, ill people in general, and I have seen it all, seen how bad some people get, seen my best mate on the ward go awol, and been there for her, been threatened by another patient, everything, I have even gone awol meself huni xxx, yep poor rosie went off the wall, and you know what they said to me, we cant see ya pain, what durrrrrrr, . you will all know depression cant always be seen xxxx

Ok now everyone, rosie past her bedtime again :rotfl:

I was very ill at the start of the week , collapsing everywhere, sick as a parrot, lol. But now im better, think it was a hospital bug as a few people had it, was sooo bad, never been sooo physically ill.

And this week or the last month has been amazing, I have put smiles on peoples faces, met great friends for life, and helped people in a creative sense, I have even met someone very special and it all makes the world of difference.

It weird as people were saying today, what are we going to do when you go?, I said you will be fine, they said no but you make us happy, you keep us busy, I have been making the Christmas displays in the hospital and got some of the clients involved, some are sooo ill you have to be careful what you say, or it can be hard, but I seemed ok, and I decorated the trees as well, and just brought Christmas to the ward really.
It is sooo sad to leave, but I am moving on from that chapter in my life, and sooo, you will be seeing more of me , lol xxxxxx

Hi Rosie,glad you are on the mend and will be at home for christmas day.I have just finished my shopping,went to asda at 10pm,bad idea it was still busy and they were restocking the shelves so there were trolleys full of stock blocking most of the isles.It will be just me and my boys for christmas,not got much family,mum and the boys dad have both passed away but me and the boys are very close and will have a good time.Hope your christmas is a good one and that you have a good new year.xx

Hey don't be sorry at all x Sounds like he might need counselling to talk though his issues? Otherwise you'll only continue to chew the brick wall and he won't progress beyond it? Just my thoughts hun xx

Thank you for your lovely uplifting post Rose - I discovered this thread fairly recently, so don't know your full situation. I get the impression you have been very very low in spirit. I worked in a hospital and saw some very troubled people, so understand you must have been very frightened.

It is great that you are home for Christmas.

I shall be around on and off till Sunday morning, then off to the airport. It looks like the fog is going further north but not up here, down down to the deepest south of England.

I am a little confused by who you are talking about and how he relates to you, but he sounds to be very closed emotionally. Has he been hurt before? Have you known him long?
