I know I am normally the positive one here and keep saying it is worth it, but is it? Having seriously major doubts here. A large part of me feels that it would be best if I just end it all.

    :(:(:cry::cry::cry:
    No please don't.

It has piled up on you this weekend. People underestimate the depressing effect of colds too.

If you can work thro it bit by bit or rest if you can. Break down the elements that are upsetting you. Your brother's break up obviously triggered something on top of a debilitating cold, of course it is overwhelming.

PM us or write on here, whatever feelings you have. I doubt you are alone in how you are feeling and it can somehow be comforting to others who may not wish to admit their feelings or even realise what they are feeling. You have a lovely clear way of writing which really helps me (and I am sure the others too)

Remember life is like an onion, you have got to the next layer and you can feel exposed when it all gets too much.

I originally PM'ed Sazbo last night. Yourself and the others asked I PMed and it seemed silly to rewrite what I had sent.

    Take care hun

I thought that and don't blame you. I think you can do multiple sends anyway. It is early for me and thought it was sent in error.

You were only a couple of streets away from me then - I can see the Tower brewery (as it used to be called) from my window.

Happy Christmas everybody and a happy new year.

After the year we have had I really look forward to 2007!
Yes 2006 hasn't been a year I care to repeat.

Here is to a new positive and better 2007:T

I'm a greedy cow.. always got room on my plate for a bit more :D besides which.. you've always been so supportive of me that it's nice to be able to give back a little :)

I know how you feel but as you told me.. that solves nothing really.. think of the people who would be devastated to lose you - not to mention the poor sod who would have to find you and clear up the mess :/ When you feel as low as this.. things can only get better, can't they? xxxx

    Hi mac!:hello:
How are you hun? I think there are several possibilities for the annual Christmas turkey fest so maybe because...
    - we are sick of having chicken for a lot of Sunday roast dinners & other
    meals throughout the year!
    - you always have people around at Christmas lunch - can you imagine
roasting 8 chickens separately so everyone would have enough?
Skyscraper ovens are what we need!:D
    - most people prefer breast meat and turkeys are more well-endowed in that
region whereas a chicken is flat-chested in comparison!:o
    - they had all the other animals at the Nativity - even the sheep turned up!
But did you see any turkey?! So this is payback. (no religious offence
    meant:o)
    - if we didn't have them on Christmas Day, New Year's Day and Easter
Sunday as is the tradition, we'd be over-run by them! Do you see how big
    they get?!!!

    I think too much don't I?puppyeyes.gif:rotfl:
    Much Love,
    Tiff xxx

lol, i have no idea why we have turkey.. we've always had it in our family I tink because my mum wanted to embrace every part of british culture when she came here. fact is none of us like it very much and I think we might just have a chicken instead this year with a small piece of beef or someting as an extra.

We also have either cannelloni or lasagne, rice balls stuffed with mozzarella, tiramisu, ensaladiglia, empanadas, fish, loads of other stuff, we have a real mixed culture in our house at christmas, bit of english, bit of italian and a bit of spanish, lol
