    Hello all you lovely people,

Sent off dole and bupa forms and been out xmas shopping.
Back is iffy but ok, but another pounding headache as I type - I get them in spells and the last three days have been bad.

Blinky - You are a hero on here and I owe you hugely. All the best - hang in there.
Ethel - Gosh you are being tested lately but hugs and love from me x
GL - Dump the bloke - he's having a laff xx
Mclaren - Good luck with tablets.
CC - Do I sense some optimism in your posts? lol xx
Sazzy, Tiff and elona - Bless you xx

    The rest
Turn the heating up and get yourself around a mince pies

God bless us every one xx

    Miro, Bunnie,
Girls are gonna love the way I toss my hair. Boys are gonna hate the way I seem.

I would rather drown with you than watch the surf with someone else

Blimey I had to get out of there. The Men and Women threads are getting rather heated and so close to Christmas.

I feel it is a communication issue but somehow both sexes seem to get upset by the way things are said to each other.

Anyway, I should be getting some peace tomorrow. Our son is staying out tonight and the generator stopped quite early today but do feel rather vacant tonight:D

empanada is anything really and you wrap it in bread dough and bake it in the oven.. ours is usually fish with peppers/tomatoes n stuff - should be sort of flat.. not big and puffy if that makes sense?

rice balls - make a risotto with white wine and chicken stock.. cut dry (that cheap, usually danish, vaccuum packed) mozzarella into cubes, when the risotto cools down make balls of it aornd the mozzarella, coat in breadcrumbs and fry... they should be about the size of cricket balls :D
I keep visualising the rice flaking apart but the breadcrumbs must hold it together or is the rice very sticky?

I think it is a combination of all sorts.

I feel pretty much this way too. It is the darkest week lightwise, you are 100 miles south of me and I noticed it getting dark later where you are, by 10 minutes. Compared to people on the south coast, it is 1 hour less per day daylight up here. I noticed the difference when I first lived up here.

Also, this bad cold makes you lose interest in things too. I have been excited to a point about Christmas, now it is getting on my blooming wick now. I want the preparations done and ready to get thro.

On top of what you are suffering already, it will bring you down.

We think you are great, you have dispensed some real sage advice and helped us through our darkest moments. The cold will be gone soon and Christmas will be here very very soon. I am sure R will be wanting to enjoy Christmas with you too.

But remember we are here to listen and it helps to talk about any feelings that have cropped up.

    Miro, Bunnie,

Hmm not sure about optimism, more my warped sense of humour:D

Shame I can't give you one of my neck massages (and don't go getting any ideas:D)

I massaged my mother in laws arm very gently and apparently it helped her.

I have studied aromatherapy, massage and complementary therapies. My favourite one is colour therapy. I am not qualified in massage or aromatherapy and can't charge for them but do help friends and family. I should really get qualified as I love complementary therapy and get a higher qualification in counselling. Too much stress over the years. I want to rid myself of the stress then resume further studies.

Q "Is anything worn under your kilt???"

A "No. Everything is in perfect working order Thank You!!."
