Do you prefer to sit by the window or aisle on the plane?
The packing, slow but sure. Son is starting tomorrow
I have gotta sit next to the aisle, this way i can get up and walk around, i panic sitting at the window as i then feel enclosed and have to jump over everyone.
Hope the packing goes well.
You need this move and hopefully it will become less stressful. But first, the most asked question:

Hi
Feeling quite nice today
All lovely and white frost outside and sunny, this is proper December weather, if we don't have snow
Went to make sure our son was up so he could get the door if if went whilst I was in the loo. Expecting some boxes today so he can pack.
Miro, you must be feeling a in real dilemma. You want to help but don't want to let her down. Is there no discreet way of helping that won't be too alarming to all concerned?
Gillette, I find cricket really dull but ended up staying up watching the cricket (really unheard of for me). I was wired the other night and my husband was explaining the rules to me. England were winning too which helped. England do their best but it is on Aussie ground and they are very undermining! Try and get as much done this week, BEFORE Saturday - it will be chaos!
Ethel, how awful for you. Maybe they will realise that she wasn't ready to go home. You have enough on your plate with your layabout to kick out.
Whatever, we are all going to have a new year's resolution to look after ourselves, starting right now!An average day in my life:hello: :mad: :coffee::coffee::coffee::T:rotfl: :rotfl:

Don't you mean less:rotfl:
My husband has to sit by the window, he likes to see out.
I like to get up and walk to the loo to stop DVT, plus I get bored. Usually there is a queue, and I have chatted to people before now in one. Got a lift from someone who was attending the same conference as us in Miami, so can be useful, or meet someone you may end up marrying. After all I met my husband at a bus stop, so public transport is a good pick up place, even if you are not looking:D
Have you got a psuedo white Christmas today? An average day in my life:hello: :mad: :coffee::coffee::coffee::T:rotfl: :rotfl:

Dear All,
Hope you are all well
Not having a particularly good day, partly because I'm shattered
My brother was visiting this weekend. He recently split from his long term girlfriend and it opened a few old wounds for me....Hug provider for depression thread :grouphug:

Yes i did mean less lol
It's called lack of sleep!
The fire alarm kept bleeping every few seconds during night as battery dying.
I just couldn't get up out of bed and put hammer through it, OH was dead to the world.
5.50am the parrot started screaming so had to get up!
Just been a walk with the dog, it's lovely and white out, wish the snow would come though!:oBut first, the most asked question:

We have no sun, you lucky person
I have no idea what to do. I mean, giving her things like chocolate and nice text messages seem to make her feel good. She keeps talking about my song etc. At the moment, small gestures seem to keep her going.
When she was unwell before, she was put in hospital by her dad.....something she has never forgiven him for....I don't want her to not forgive me, as being in her life, I can still be there for her to make sure no-one uses her, or at least pick up the pieces at worst.
Get your son packing!!!0 -

Is your brother older or younger than you? Sometimes being older also brings the feeling of responsibility to look out for the younger siblings.0 -
Well, my Christmas shopping is just about done........presents purchased/delivered etc.
Now all I need is the last bits of food, which will be later today or tomorrow
How is everyone else doing for Christmas shopping?
Sadly, can't get 'S' out of my head. I even have a few tears when I think about her and how she is right now........soppy bug-ger0 -

He's older but I've always been the more 'mature' one.Hug provider for depression thread :grouphug:

I wish i could wave a magic wand and make it better for you!
Miro, i understand how your feeling, yes you can support her but you cannot help her. If it is as bad as your saying, she needs professional help, and the quicker she get's it the better for you all.
The only way this can be done if for someone (who knows what's been happening) is to confront a professional source for her, Miro, this can be done strictly confidential without her knowing, after all, you are only concerned for her well-being.
She's very unlikely to walk in and tell a GP etc what she's been doing if she doesn't know what she's actually doing herself?
Miro, you also have to look after yourself, this is very unhealthy for you.
