With much love and respect to you miro, this takes the decision about what help she may need, out of your hands hun. As much as you care for her, you're not the professional she needs to evaluate her objectively. You have to realise this. Let the professionals make the decision and that will also help to take away any guilt you may feel about calling them.

I know your heart's with her hun but you've already said she's got a tough few days coming up - do you honestly think she's going to improve? If you saw a stranger suffering like this angel, you know you'd do it - so do it for s hun.

And if s is admitted, you can still be all she needs miro. I know how much you don't want to do this angel but you've got to put your feelings aside and do what's best for s. And yes hun, you are strong and caring but you just said a few posts back that you've got a tough 3 months coming up (we'll be here for you too ).

Be glad that you and fm are there to get the help she so needs and that she's not alone, with no-one to help her when she needed it most. That's the best kind of friend you can be to her hun.

I'm not going to know if she is admitted today, as flatmate is staying out until 10ish and 'S' goes bed around 9ish, so flatmate won't call her tonight now :mad:

She is meant to call me tomorrow, to properly arrange the time and place to meet for Thursday, so i'll see how she is then. She apparently has been far worse in the past, but we fear she is slipping backwards. She's given up her voluntary job already, as she can't handle it.

I'm going to e-mail someone I know in the mental health system and ask some advice. This lady actually knows 'S' but I won't say it is her.

I have a counselling appointment tomorrow and as I usually talk about 'S', it will come up as it's on my mind, and i'll see what is said.

I need to be 100% before I do anything

yeh - tho we have it over here but we call it "harvest" or somethin glike that - talk about confusing lol - anyway, its the same as thanksgiving at around the same time - just one of the many things ive been thinking about recently LOL!
