Hi All,
How are we today? My doctors appointment went quite well. No new meds, we talked about making some changes to my life (like my job) to make me happier and doing some relaxation techniques. He told me off for how much I am drinking (again!). But good thing is no new meds, can stay on the ones I am on at the minute for now and see how things go. He wants to see me again in a month.
Job interview went really well, have just got back. Apparently they are going to let me know this afternoon, which I thought was really quick. Fingers crossed though. Am trying not to get my hopes up too much, as I know i am going to be really disappointed if I don't get it.Sorting my life out to give a better life to my:heartsmil 2 gorgeous boys :heartsmil0 -
Sorry miroslav, didn't want to ignore your post, but I don't have any answers I am afraid. Relationships are really tough, particularly when you are suffering with depression. I just wanted to let you know that someone is thinking of you.Sorting my life out to give a better life to my:heartsmil 2 gorgeous boys :heartsmil0

Oops, was editing as you typed this reply, sorry.
Posted similar on another thread and was just deleting them as was silly. No-one can say or do anything anyway.

Hey Flis, good luck with the job - at least you won't have to wait long to find out.
I'm not decided about going back to work - the main reason I don't want to is that I don't want to be tied in to something, just in case i leave my husband :-/
Hows you today Miroslav?Stay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.0 -

At least your doctor acknowledges it, I keep crying out for advice/help on my drinking, but the doctor just looks at me sypathetically and says I shouldn't drink hehe. I know that, but how can I stop? Would rather practical advice :rotfl:Stay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.0 -

flis21 glad the doctors appointment went well and glad the interview went well - let us know when you hear anything - whatever happens going for an interview that you felt went well is a positive experience.
feelinggood I ditto what flis21 said about volunteering - I have worked with volunteers for over three years and many come as they want to ease themselves back into work, some know that they may never be able to work but still want to do something - all are fantastic people and the project that I set up would never exist if it weren't for the fantastic volunteers, knowing them has changed my life in a very positive way and I would class all but a few as great friends.
About the drinking - I know that you have probably looked into it but do you have any local support groups? Often GP's don't necessarily know what is actually available within their own communities.
I've had quite a good day today and am feeling quite chirpy! Other halfs band is playing tonight and looking forward to going to watch. Not sure whether to drive and not drink or go with him and have a drink. The problem is I feel great after one or two but I always seem to have one too many and then go downhill quickly and get stroppy/depressed/tearful.0 -

Glad your feeling good Bungle
Are you any good at limiting? Can you stop yourself after 2 drinks? If not, I'd drive so you've got no choice.
I'm still pretty down at the moment. They guy I'm in love with is being a bit distant with me, and he sent me an email at 4pm saying 'please don't email me again today, I need to do some work'. Never know how to respond to that. I've managed (only just) to not email him, but I want toSuppose I should wait for him to make the next move, he knows I'm home tonight, so he can call if he wants. Grr, men!

Hi all, I have fab news. I got the job. Feeling really happy and positive now. Only got one more week of working for the evil boss from hell!!!
I don't think I really drink that much, never drink in the week, but can polish off a bottle of wine to myself on a Fiday or Saturday night.Sorting my life out to give a better life to my:heartsmil 2 gorgeous boys :heartsmil0
