blinky wrote:Morning all, having a bit of an odd day. Need a hug
Most of last night I was feeling great but before I went to bed I was feeling really crap. Why? Although everything is going great with 'R' :happyhear it is the only thing I can see which is positive in my life at the moment.I'm trying to stay positive but it's hard. I think I'm just a little scared that I'll f**k things up and I'll have nothing to keep me going.
It's great that things are going so well with 'R' but I feel I shouldn't be relying on it to be my only source of happiness and reason to be positive. Does that make sense?
Hi blinky :hello:
Absolutely. Completely. Totally.
But there again, this is Tiff you're talking to!
First things first hun - here's a Tiff hug to keep you going.....
Blinky, it's natural to feel the way you are as I'm sure all the brilliant people on this thread have already told you. Sometimes you dare to dream, you're lucky enough to see a spark, your approach is successful and you think ''Why would they bother with me? This can't last! It's too good to be true.'' the answer to that my friend is, ''Why not?''
Try and remember that your relationship with 'r' is not brand new - the lady knows about your situation, cares about you and wants to be with you, so you haven't got to go through the whole 'what do I tell her?' part. She already knows and wants you as you are.
That, hun, is something precious.;) :j
I suspect that maybe the low you're feeling comes because of the natural high you're experiencing with r...you have to come down a little from any kind of high & that's when you get edgy and worried. I think you've just got a little stage fright hun - again natural.:o There are bound to be low days, like any other relationship, so try not to let that frighten you. You'll also have low days because of your illness - but the trick there is to learn how to recognize them coming and learn how to manage those days and not let them manage you! They will come angel - but they'll go too!
It is wise, Tiff thinks  , not to put all of yourself into one relationship. Enjoy it for whatever it will be, wherever it will take you and open up other horizons, step by step, and see what you can achieve. You're building a realtionship with r successfully and you can do other things successfully. The really good news angel is that you've got time on your side.;)
I can't promise you it's going to be easy or a happy ever after hun - no-one gets that promise-but wouldn't it be a tragedy if you never tried to find out? And if r isn't ''The One'',
, you'll already have a life in place to keep you going, because you'll have explored different opportunities, be it work, college or whatever. Give it time, let it grow and enjoy it hun...a day at a time. You deserve to be loved as much as anyone else.
Much Love

Aaah! I always wondered what they were! Keep seeing folk with them on the tube and that :rotfl: Mental note to self: must put it on Sazzy's christmas list:D
How you doing this evening ethel hun? Sxx4 May 20100 -
Evening everyone. Well, meeting with contractors, albeit not terrible exciting, was surprisingly constructive. Got a run-down of what they'll be doing - repairs to roof and rendering on back wall, decorating common parts, various other bits and pieces.
Still feeling a bit tired though  Must get an early night tonight, blah, blah, blah...
Much love to you all,

CCStar wrote:Have you put on weight?
I put on weight easily and find it very hard to lose.
If anything can help me lose weight, without cutting my food intake down dramatically, that is the only thing that works for me. I eat when I am stressed, afterwards as a reward and rebuild so I can cope with the next round of life's !!!!!!!
Hi cc:hello:
I can't say tbh - it's not uncommon for some a-ds to induce weight gain.
I try to look at it like this:Tiff is not overweight - she is underheight!Comfort eating is rampant hun.As if we don't have enough to worry
about huh?! The end decision I guess, is to take care of the illness first and just do what we can with everything else angel. I don't know about weight gain and Amitriptyline but I do know where I'd be without it for any physical pain!:o
Much Love

welsh wrote:Ethel I am going to see him at 5pm, an hour on the tube to middle of London, joy in peak hour! i will speak to him see what he says, couldnt get out of bed for hours today either, supposed to feel bad for the frist few days though i have been told
No fan of being crushed on the tube myself. But I'm usually leaving home early enough in the morning and leaving work late enough in the evening  that it's not too bad, unless there are delays which on reflection are nearly every day, LOL
Let us know how you got on at the appointment. Sx4 May 20100
