Welsh, make sure you think long and hard about drinking whilst on medication - usually you aren't suppose.
Not a medical opinion, just my experience - I drank (heavily) on citalopram, and it didn't react well.
If you can avoid drinking, you probably should.

    Afternoon to all :)
I'm smiling like an idiot lol.

cheers Ethel, at the min though not sure if i can cope with work, Citalopram making me feel a little dizzy, and numb like a zombie, think i liked cryin all the time more!! hopefully will all come normal again soon

I find work actually helps a bit as it keeps my mind active and helps block out some of the negative thoughts and gives me some human contact.

Ethel I am going to see him at 5pm, an hour on the tube to middle of London, joy in peak hour! i will speak to him see what he says, couldnt get out of bed for hours today either, supposed to feel bad for the frist few days though i have been told

Deep joy.. I hate the tube at the best of times, lol

I must have been really lucky then cos I've never felt bad on them at all.. hopfully its just a few days then and will pass soon xx

I CAN totally relate to the not being able to get out of bed tho.. its awful.. dozing on and off and thinking I should be up doing this or that.. then you feel guilty n feel worse so you stay even longer... lol

CC do you drink alcohol at all? the way i am at the min i am too scared to drink any alcohol or caffine or anything as i dont want to feel like i am losin control or something!
I find it difficult drinking alcohol. If I have a good trip, it is fine, otherwise I can get aggressive.

Yes control is important to me too

I don't tend to get hangovers tho'.

Caffiene is OK for me, lifts my mood and gives me some energy. It helps keep me regular too:D

It is not advisable to drink whilst taking medication. It either hinders it or makes the alcohol much more potent.
