Make sure you keep him to that - don't let him off easy.

Both sides need to work at a relationship. The fact that you don't know if you have what it takes is actually a good thing as it means you aren't thinking too far ahead. I think you probably do as long as he is prepared to put some effort in but who knows what will happen.

I'm not an expert at relationships. Before 'R' it's been an awfully long time since I've been with someone. :o If you'd asked me in the summer I would have said I would have said I'd more or less given up hope of meeting someone.....

Hiya blinky.. You're right.. it does take two so I'll see how things go. We havent really talked a lot yet.. but he's got the day off today so we'll make some time today to put both our points across and see if we can find some middle ground. I know what my faults are.. I can be uncommunicative and withdrawn, I don't give him much of my time.. but that's cos I haven't had any!! that should only be the case for a couple more weeks tho. I am oversensitive.. I take things to heart that arent meant as harshly as I take them.. and that sends me scuttling off to hide in my corner too. I know his faults too :p he's quite energetic and does everything (nearly) at 100 miles an hour, which can be misinterpreted as aggression which is part of the reason why I withdraw, he is lazy about the house although we touched on that briefly last night and he promised to help more, he can be quite insensitive and hurt my feelings without realising he does it, and he makes promises and then forgets about them... the positives are that he absolutely adores me, I've never doubted that, and I do love him.. but I'm not very good at showing it, so he gets insecure and ratty and thats where some of the troubles lie.. so we both need to make changes and it wont be easy but the best we can do is give it a try :)

Phew!! didnt mean to write a novel there... sowwee :o

Mornin FG, tiffy, everyone else who's about :) Hope you all have a good day. I'm just having a cuppa or two an then gonna go finish clearing the junk room so b/f can assemble the desk n stuff later for me :D

Enjoy your cuppa :D Maybe I should have some caffine? That is likely to help my manic state isn't it hehe :)
