Morning everyone, how are we all today?

I have finally got dressed now!! Still haven't done any of the chores tho, except putting some washing in. Got 5 hours till Hubby comes home, so better make sure I get something done!!

FG - Those emporer books are really good, are they the ones by Conn Iggulden? I really enjoyed them, about the life of Julius Ceaser, although they call him by a different name in the first book, so it can be a little confusing!

Ooh, I shall try and read them later - I've not read in a little while.
Well done on getting dressed :j :T
Hope you get all your jobs done - are you going to be like me and leave it till the very last minute?
    I'm feelinggood today :D
    How are you? x

Feelinggood - glad you've kicked the bottle and fags.:T Try and eat something proper - other than cold pizza. It will help you feel better.

Hi there - before I start- I am NOT looking for medical advice, just other peoples experiences of suffering with depression.

I was diagnosed with depression in about 2000, and have been on a variety of anti-depressants. I'm currently in the process of changing from Paroxetine to Venlefaxine.

However, I struggle enormously with day to day life, and have done for years. I can never wake up in the morning, and had major problems with this when I was working, despite having 7- yes SEVEN alarm clocks! I just wouldn't hear them. I find it difficult to get motivated to do anything, and over the last few years, have found it extraordinarily hard to apply myself, or to concentrate on things. Before the baby came along, I would lock myself away for days on end, and just sleep.

Has anyone else had similar experiences?

yep i have had similar symptons, it has got better since i'm enjoying what i'm doing alot more........i quit my job and went back to collage. Diet can play a big part so you could try to change that, and maybe write your self a routine for each day also at the end of each day write down all the things that have bothrrd you throught the day.

Hi FG. Thanks. Yes, will probably leave all jobs until the last minute, but never mind. Am having trouble summing up the energy to go and make myself lunch, even thought I am starving hungry!! Probably because I know the washing up needs doing and the kitchen looks like a disastor zone.

Was going to do something with the butternut squash I have got for lunch, but don't think I can really be bothered now. Might just have a sandwich!!

I washed up and tidied the kitchen! Now I can relax and watch a film without feeling guilty hehe. I've got energy at the moment, I need to run with it!.
Been on tablets for 6 days, maybe they are working? Trying not to be too hopeful, nothings worked before. Maybe this will tho? Only sideaffect so far is dry mouth, I can live with that.
Mmmm sandwich, I'd have one but go no nice bread. Will have chocolate instead :D

It was too good to last

I made a lovely meal for tomorrow and today.

    Then I saw the post

My son has been lying to us. I accidently opened his statement. We promised he would not spend his long term savings and he has nibbled away at £2000.

My husband is saying I am blaming him, I do. He never backs me up when he upsets me. He shouts at me when I discipline him, so I am undermined.

He sexually rejects me all the time. I feel like a desperado when I want to get intimate. He makes me feel like !!!!!!.

My son is following his example in his lies and crap attitude.

    I have to get out!

It is one huge uphill fight.

I am in tears and I hate my life

Oh CCstar, I am so sorry :(
    **big hugs**
I know its hurting, but try to remember what it is you've got to do - ignore them, you don't need them. You are making something of your life, you are being your own person. You are better than them.

I realise and have done before that it is my family that depress me.

I am undermined by them, so I am all alone. I am made to be the bad guy for standing my ground.

    I am sick of it

I am making moves to get out, by packing etc and trying to keep civilised, but it can't come soon enough.

My husband never helps me, our son is lying selfish pig and my mother keeps giving him money.
