I'm going to have a long, hot bath later.
And, if I'm feeling up to it, I might read :j :j :j

I don't know what his excuse is now - it was 8 years ago he gave up
You ought to live in Scotland, you can't smoke anywhere indoors in public areas. I really notice it when I go down south now.
OH avoids leaving the house except to go to work when he doesn't smoke. He really struggles - I think thats why he sabotaged my efforts last time, but he says he was trying to help cos I was having a nervous break down and he thought that if I smoked again, I'd get better :rolleyes:Stay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.0 -

You should both be helping each other.

I don't think you are allowed to smoke in laundrettes. Shame you can't go alone, you might meet someone:Dfeelinggood wrote:There is something about men grrr
My washing machine is broken, but OH won't take me to the launderrette as he is giving up smoking too - so I've got to handwash everything and try and get it dry!! Very annoying.
I've got to wash up today, but nothing else needs to be done. Oh, I've got to order my shopping too - I need more chocolate!! And some dinners too, I've not cooked for about 4 days, need to get back in to that.
I hope your ok mood continues once he gets up.
OH spends most of his time in bed when he is giving up, which is nice, cos I can avoid him easier. Awful isn't it?
My house is filthy - only had an inspection on Weds, so it was spotless, but its a state again! How do I make so much mess?
Watch the eating tho'

Hows this avatar?
He tries to give up most weekends - hes tried patches, inhalor, zyban, lozenges and gum.
I gave up one time with him - he managed 2 weeks and I did 17, then he persauded me to start. I've not tried to give up with him since, as I don't want to be stopping and starting. This time, I want to give up for me - and if he manages it, brilliant, if not, I'm not going to start again. How many did you smoke? THe washing machine is under garuntee, but they can't find the reciept. Hopefully it won't be too long. Its the driving thats the problem, he cannot be in the car without wanting to smoke. And its too stressful - it would make him give in. He really cannot do anything at all for the first 1-2 weeks.
I'm probably gonna gain alot of weight with giving up, but I've been gaining recently anyway. I'll diet once I'm well - if I've done it before, I can do it again.
And i don't need to meet anyone, i've got someone

I smoked very little about 5 on a night out but nothing on a normal day. Hubby smoked about 5-10 per day that I knew about! He was a pretty heavy smoker when we first met. There were a lot of smokers then and more normal! Today it is very frowned upon.feelinggood wrote:Hows this avatar?

The cost is a very good motivation to give up. It was about £3 a packet in 1998 (I think). An average day in my life:hello: :mad: :coffee::coffee::coffee::T
